Featured Replies

Congratulations @MLMR for being smoke free for 6 months.

Well do you wonderful smoke free creature you. Despite a bumpy road at times over the past 6 months you have bristled up and fought to keep your quit, you have asked for help when you needed it, you have rejoiced in your victories and achievements weather they have been little or big, you have supported those on the journey with you have embraced learning and growing into the best MLMR you can be. You deserve to be proud of yourself, we are. So, today is for you, do something amazing to reward yourself and hold your head high.

It's so cool that you have your quitversary just a couple of days after mine @MLMR.

Yours has been a journey I have seen and evolve over the past 6 months. I have seen you evolve into a more determined person, who really has fought so hard for her quit, through all the peaks and troughs. Standing at the edge of that cliff, each time you've pulled back from falling into the Nicodemon's void.

Bravo my friend. Every time you've pushed back, you've pushed this addiction further away from you. You've kept your quit intact which is such an amazing feat I couldn't mention it enough.

So yes, please please celebrate, here's to rejuvenating cells, refreshing days, restful nights and peace knowing you're saving a ton of money :D and it's going to keep getting better.

Excelsior!!!

Yeah, finally 6 months!!!! Been looking forward to this moment and now it feels like... just another up-and-down day. ?

Nothing new there,  been like that for the past six months, many unexpected highs and often when I 'should feel' like celebrating, nothing happens.

Well, whatever. I am kicking *ss anyway.

Thanks all so much for every kind word, the butt kicking, the cheering. I am glad I made the decision to do this together with you guys.

Month 7, here I come!

Congratulations on your first 6 months MLMR! It's a huge accomplishment even if your troubled rewards circuitry won't let you feel the WOW part right now. I know what that is like.

Well done!

Awesome job on the 6 month mark MLMR -- this is a big one and shows how strong your quit is.  Keep going strong and remember to celebrate!!!!!

You are welcome and it WILL GET BETTER! You have this, just stay strong. I smoked for 30 years plus and never thought I could be almost be 2 and a half years smoke free but I am and you can do this! All my best.

Congratulation MLMR.  I like to think of this as our journey because we are so close together with our quits.  Times that I have been down, you have written words of inspiration that have carried me through.  We are going to do this.  Celebrate you so deserve it!!!!!!!

Yes yes yes!!!! The six month high! I'm feeling it, yihaa! I did it, I made it this far. And if I can make it is this far, ofcourse I'll reach a year!

I was just opening my window and I smelled winter and promising spring at the same time. No more stinking smokey covering up, no more hiding, no more shame about addiction. I am proud that I stuck to what I promised myself 6 months ago and have been promising myself every day since. Rollercoaster or not, life throw ups or not... djeez. I am one tough mofo, ha! Eat that, life!
