I wish I had set mine aside too.... we are talking 1000s people...

So there is a glass it has milk in it half way.... two people look at the glass.... one person says oh no that glass is half empty... the other person says oh look that glass is half full.... so these two people look at your challenge today.... on Ms Negative Nancy of the half empty glass says... I am a bad person I wanted to smoke.... But Ms Possitive Polly.... she looks at the event and says... How frickin awesome am I... I was stress, to the max, I had to be in two places at once, I had dumb and dumber invading my personal space and then I had that nicodemon in my ear telling me to smoke some skanky random leftover.... but I did not smoke, nope, nope, nope, I trashed that smoke... I stood tall.... I am a freaking quitter. Well done me! Every month it gets better... but be proud of yourself because while this might have been a close call, and I can see it, I have had them... lots because apparently I had secret smokes stashed all over the house.... you answered with the knowledge you have given yourself and you said I don't think so and gave it in.

I quit on a whim... kinda.... sorta... yep defo a whim... should listen to that little voice more often.... the one that says go on give it go.... I am so proud to say I don't smoke, I quit.

Hey Tammy.... 50%er..... what a ripper quit you have going..... I am so proud to share this journey with you my friend. How amazing does it feel to be 6 months free of nicotine and smoking... I know there have been trials for you along the way and you have nurtured and kept your quit going despite all the challenges life has bought. You are a wonderful friend and I am so glad you decided to quit and you joined us here when you did. You are amazing women who deserves every happiness life can bring. Now lets celebrate and party my friend..... you are a total champion.

Congratulations @Tammy for not only hitting it over the boundary but smacking it right out of the park...... there is only one way to call your quit...... ITS A SIX!! Well done on reaching six months my friend. You have come so far from when you first quit. Sure you will still have challenges and rough days but you have the commitment and determination to keep this forever. Thank you for sharing the gift that is your writing and for sharing your support with those travelling the road with you, weather it be in front, behind or exactly where you are. I hope you do something special to celebrate this milestone, a nice big reward for yourself for being half way through your first year of freedom.

$10/month... what the hell.... 35quid a month too.... fricking ripping us off down here.... so I am looking at.... about $40/month in Werribee with pool access (so about $55 USA, and 80pound/mth).... in the city where I work (so either before or after work) with pool access I am looking at that price about the same... per week..... wot the frvck!!!
