  1. Stoptober is such an awesome idea, loads of my friends quit last October as they went smoke-free for 28 days and have never looked back since!! Has anyone else tried Stoptober? How did you find it? They have a super helpful app and email support which I thought may be useful to share!

  6. I want to share my experience of quitting. I quit 6 months ago now with the help of a psychologist and it feels so good! Thought it might help all you guys out to share a free app that has just come out that is like your own personal psychologist in your pocket! It's called Quit Genius and it uses scientifically proven behavioural support to change the way you think about smoking and break your addiction. It's like the headspace for smoking. It's free to download on the App Store and has some awesome reviews. Check it out or might help you guys out :)

The rules are simple. Make a statement about the next poster, and that person answers with either "True" or "False" and then makes their own statement about the next poster. The next poster: has had at least 2 speeding tickets in life.
  8. Nice to meet you and welcome to this forum. Great to know that you are quitting again. I succeed on third attempt. I know first 1-2 week is really hard. I tried to quit several times but didn’t succeed - it was soon hard! What I ended up doing in the end was visiting a psychologist. It helped me so much to change the way I think about smoking and made the process of quitting way easier. The problem was it was quite expensive and took up a bit of time. I was reading about this app called "Quit Genius" in the Evening Standard. It’s essentially a personal psychologist in your pocket and is like the Headspace for smoking and uses scientifically proven techniques o change the way you think about smoking. It is awesome!! It helped me quit and I am now 2 weeks smoke-free and it feels so good.
