  6. Yup just paying to kill yourself - I bought into all the nicodemon lies thinking - Nah it will never happen to me - but it did and I have no one to blame but myself. The warnings are everywhere. We know this and choose to ignore it (which is what I did). And if you do want to read horror stories check out my blog. Everyday is fight and a blessing. Do you body a favor and just stop - the pain of withdrawl is NOTHING compared the pain you may face if you continue. I wish you the best of luck, I know it's hard but nothing good ever comes easy.

  10. If you have cigs around I would get rid of them if you really want to quit. I soaked mine in water and tossed them out with coffee grounds. It is tough but we all have went through this and we don`t have any special gift to do this except a commitment that we will no longer be smokers. It really can be done. Read and stay close to the site. You can do this and I will bet you it won`t be as tough as you imagine. Keep positive. Best wishes and hope to see you around.

  11. The consequences of smoking are always off in the distant future...until they're not. The lies we told ourselves and the mental gymnastics performed denying the consequences of smoking become null and void when the cold, hard truth comes calling.

  15. 1Rush is an amazing American first name. American first names can be so wild and creative. I digress... 2 Rush brings up connotations with nicotine rush....unfortunately. 3 I feel sympathy for anyone with Advanced cancer. 4 He won't be the first or last to claim he liked the 'sensory element' of smoking. I did once. 5 This is site for people who have seen the truth about smoking and that's better.

  26. In the good ole days it was NOPE that sufficed. Unfortunately now we have NOVE ( Not one vape ever) Eventually they will implant a nicotine device in your nasal pasages and you will be able blow smoke out of your ears, mouth and nose; at the same time.

  28. Hey thanks for checking! I'm on my 21st day now on the patch and no slip ups! Night time hanging out at home is the toughest but no slip ups so far and other than that doesn't seem too bad at all

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
