● dreaming vividly about it means nothing. Its still NOPE. ● I may be annoyed about still having smokey thoughts at this point, yet NOPE is as true as before. ● I am prepared to repeat NOPE a million times, if that saves me from future physical smoke-related harm. ● NOPE causes me better sleep, better breathing, calmth. The annoyance about cigarettes was caused by smoking in the first place, years ago. Now, take responsability for that. ● NOPE!!!8 points

My husband was on vacation this week. I had a big Honey-Do-List. It is 90 degrees out there but we are painting the shed. Or I should say I am supervising painting the shed. He bought this great Wagner spray painter and it is going along quite nicely. (Though he did have to do the ladder a few times, which is scary at his age) This is really hard work supervising and thinking of all the things that new spray painter is going to paint........the inside garage walls, the closet doors, the basement and oh yes, my kitchen cabinets. We have been here 28 years and some updating is do.5 points

What I wouldn't give to have a piece of pizza or a steak. On the fourth week of three months of healing from dental surgery. Is it Donald Duck who used to lisp. That is what I sound like when I talk. Geez, I can't even yell at my husband with meaning.5 points

I almost forgot ...... the other day when I went golfing for the first time in about 15 years, I found two lighters in one of my golf shoes - lol. No cigarettes, just 2 lighters. Go figure! Oh and I didn't have any trigger to smoke while I was golfing either. Never crossed my mind even once. I just realized that now. I used to smoke while I golfed of course so I'm a little surprised I didn't have any thoughts about smoking while I was waiting at a Tee box or something. Anyway, it's all good, except for the golf game. My score sucked big time!!4 points

you seem to be determined to torture yourself. Put some determination into your quit ! Think about why you are defeating yourself. Once you make the commitment to yourself to never take another puff you will stop the torture. You are stronger than any crave or trigger. Get involved with your quit, educate yourself about nicotine addiction. Read read read everything you can. Tell us when you are feeling overwhelmed or when you are losing focus. We can help, if you let us. S3 points

I have been doing some power washing of my teak table and chairs in my backyard (whoo - it is hot and humid out there!!) and my hose has developed a few bubbles and it will have to be replaced.....but it is frozen onto the spigot!! I tried wd-40, a wrench....won't budge. Luckily, I have a buddy staying with me and he is going to help me remove the whole darn thing and replace it with a new one.....3 points
