**** it.  I don't care if you cuss, especially in this forum.  Just a little tact on the main boards though.  Again, **** it.

My internet is down today and was for several hours yesterday.  I'm still waiting for the plumber. He said 45-1 hour and that was an hour and a half ago.

Cookie isn't eating again after doing so well. She threw up for the first time since getting home last night and wanted out all night long 😩 Had an appointment for the vet to come that I had made before her hospitalization and she didn't show up. But she texted this morning suggesting I make an appointment to put her down 😢

And I'm frucking hungry but don't want to eat until they come and go. Ugh 😩

@jillar I am sorry you are having a bad day. Sorry about Cookie, sending hugs and prayers your way🤗🤗🤗❤❤

Oh I am so sorry to hear that Cookie is not doing well.  Does she seem to be in any pain?  It is not unusual to feel bad when she has been thru so much recently.  Have you tried just some chicken broth with a little rice,  I am not second guessing you or the vet, just want to help if there is anyway to make her more comfortable.

I know how you feel but you do need to eat something so you can even think about what you need to do.  Sounds like you did not get any rest last night as well.  Do not make a decision until you feel better and can think thru the situation.

Kris

Sorry let me ad to this F... F....F....F....F....

You are in my prayers and I hope Cookie bites that damn plumber!

Sorry to hear about your Cookie's issues, @jillar. As a crazy dog lover myself, I know how hard it is when they are in pain and the decision has to be made to let them go. It's a tough place to be in.......my heart goes out to you!

My girl had a really rough night. Wanted out all night long and vomiting 4xs on an empty stomach. Even the water she drank comes up. She hasn't eaten since Sunday night and is just so weak and thin that I've got to let her go😢 The vet will be here this afternoon.....

Oh, Jillar, I'm so sorry you and Cookie are going through this.  There's nothing I can say to make you feel better except that you know you are doing what's best for her, as you always have.  You've given her a wonderful, long and happy life, and will be with her to the end -- she knows how much she is loved.  Thinking of you and sending all the hugs.

@jillar I am so sorry!! In your heart you know you are doing what

is best for her. But is so hard to make that decision. Sending hugs and thoughts of comfort to you.😥😥🤗🤗

@jillar, that really sucks! I am so sorry that you are forced to let her go. May she run and play happily again, after she crosses the rainbow bridge. My heart goes out to you, my fiend.❤️😌

I am so sorry.  You have done everything possible and more.  I always tell them we will be with them again someday.   My prayers are with you.

K

Thanks you guys, she's gone. The vet was very kind and respectful to her and said a prayer for her. We were with her, stroking her and thanking her for picking me to get to be her mom. My heart is broken😭😭

Your sweet girl is free from pain now.  It's a gift to you both that you were able to be with her, as impossibly hard as it must have felt at the time.  I'm sure she was doing her best to let you know how grateful she was that you chose her to be your pup and thanking you for loving her enough to let her go when she was ready, even though it was one of the hardest things you've ever had to do.   My Finny will meet her at the bridge and show her around and introduce her to all the other cool kids.  Sending giant hugs across the country to you.

I am so very sorry for your loss, Jilly! How awful you must feel. I know that you know you had no choice, but that doesn’t make it any less painful, for you. Rest assured, though, that Cookie is pain free now, and picture her running and playing happily, in a beautiful meadow, just beyond the Rainbow Bridge. If you believe in the hereafter, you will see her again….. ❤️ Kat

Condolences Jillar.

Rest in peace Cookie.

So very, very sorry for your loss, Jillar.  Prayers for comfort.

@jillar I’m so sorry to hear of Cookie’s passing.  I know that pain and I’m sending virtual hugs to you!  Rest in play, Cookie.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, Jillar.  Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way.

I’m so very sorry about your loss, @jillar. This has to be the toughest thing we ever have to do for our beloved pets. Prayers for you. 😞

When I was a young single Mom, in my early twenties, my sister’s mother-in-law, Shirley, took a special interest in me, and my infant son, Jonathan. She cared for both of us, and was instrumental in teaching me how to be a Mom. My own mother was hardly involved in our lives. Shirley didn’t always approve of my lifestyle, or the guys I dated, and she wasn’t afraid to let me know that.  Above all, she loved my Jon, as if he were her own grandson. We have never lost touch, and Jon has made sure to visit her regularly, over the years. I last saw her two years ago. I just learned that she passed away 2 days ago. She was 86. Coincidentally, her husband, Bob, who was 90, had just passed away 2 weeks prior.. Jon last saw Shirley the day before she died. He called her Nana, and her husband was his Pappap. Bob was waiting to be laid to rest on the 25th, at a military cemetery, so now they can be lburied together, and at the same time.  I am not surprised that they died so close together, because they shared a very special love. It’s hard to put into words who they were, but I will try to summarize. Did you ever cross paths with someone who was always kind and generous, but not afraid to speak their mind? Did you know someone you could always rely on, no matter what? How about someone, for whom family was everything, holidays and traditions of the upmost importance? That was Shirley and Bob. They were the salt of the earth, and this world was certainly a better place, with them in it. My heart is broken. May this beautiful couple rest In Heavenly Peace, ❤️

I'm so sorry @Katgirl, how special for Jon that he got to see her one last time🤗

Yes, I am happy for him, and so very proud that he made sure Nana and Pappap always knew how very important they were to him.  Jon is super intelligent. I’ve never met anyone who matches him intellectually. Shirley and Bob were uneducated, unsophisticated, simple people who simply exuded love and kindness.  They had 5 children of their own, and a ton of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jon and I were so blessed to have been considered part of their family.
