October 22, 20214 yr I understand this totally. My husband was one of five children. He would do anything for his parents, the whole time I knew him from the age of 15. He would take his Grandmother and Aunt to Mass when they were visiting. I was not Catholic but would go with them. He would always put on a tie and blazer and they would be one on each arm as he escorted them in. I followed behind. One of many reasons I fell in love. When my FIL passed he told my son to take care of his Mom and he did without fail. He was at the house several times a week, cleaning the pool and doing yard work. He was always was there to get the trash out for pick up. When my husband passed, his Mom followed a week later. My husbands service was on one Sunday and his Moms was the next Sunday. It was and still is the hardest thing I have gone through. I did not get to see my MIL before she passed. I loved my inlaws so much!! K

October 26, 20214 yr Woke up to my cat on my bed licking her butt and making "flicking" motions. Figured she was just getting a dingle ball cleaned up and proceeded to get up while trying not to disturb her majesty. Went to pick up the remote she knocked off the nightstand while she was getting on my bed. She can't just jump up on the bed like a normal pet, oh no, miss Tiki has to jump on the nightstand and maneuver between the items to walk gingerly across to the bed. Well imagine my complete disgust when I pick up the remote and look to see that frucking dingle ball now stuck to my finger! What a way to start my day😫😄 Edited October 26, 20214 yr by jillar
October 31, 20214 yr I can do nothing but laugh, my Toby Jo expects for me to turn down the bed for him before he jumps up. Then when he gets up there I turn out the light and the first thing he does is puts his little furry butt in my face. It cracks me up how all 3 dogs have a bedtime routine that I have to adhere to. K
November 16, 20214 yr Two things I wanna curse out here .. First my stinking bad cold ,it's my first day out of bed in a couple of days ....Dam you .... Second ....We good folks in Liverpool have a had a terrorists attack .... A Mother and new baby hospital ...how sick is that .... Thankfully the bomb exploded killing him ,before he had the chance to do what he planned to do .. We are now on a high alert as other devices and other people have been arrested ..all in thier 20 s... What evil sick low life ...fkuc.....
November 16, 20214 yr Oh, my sweet girl, what a terrible thing. I am half a world away but I can feel your pain. We have no idea why some of these things happen. The young man and the other young people who were involved were deeply troubled. It breaks my heart that some one out there put them in the position to bring havoc and heartache on the world. I pray that that will be the only attack on innocent people. I have accepted that these horrible things will continue to happen unless we find a way to help our youth worldwide to navigate the world they must live in. So many think that technology is such a great thing. I do not agree.! It creates an atmosphere where bad people can spread their venom and take advantage of out youth to commit these horrible acts. K

I remember being at a particularly nihilistic place in life several years ago. I had pretty much reached the conclusion that mankind was a mistake. A good friend of mine said: "if most people were truly evil, we would have all killed each other a long time ago." There's plenty of evil to go around, but there's still a bit of good out there. Some days you just have to look a bit harder for the good than others.

Who, in their right mind would attack a maternity hospital?! That is about as low as you can go…. Glad he blew himself up, instead! Jesus, Mary and Joseph! What is wrong with some people?

December 13, 20214 yr Just terrible! One minute you’re working at a candle factory, and the next minute you’re life is over. Just a devastating event. So far, 65 known to have died, but still many missing. Life is a gift, which is why we must make the most of it….My heart aches for those families who have lost someone.
