Yay! I have one month!!

Featured Replies

As of 4:00 p.m., I am smoke free for one month.  It hasn't been easy peasy (borrowed from someone else...ha ha) but I am feeling pretty good overall.  I am using the patch to help me quit and I have to say that it has made a huge difference for me.  I am a little past the halfway mark in the 8-week program.  I began Step 2 yesterday and so far so good.  With less nicotine now, I may start feeling more withdrawal...we'll see.  I'm looking forward to finishing the program and being done with nicotine for good!

I appreciate the support I have received here.  Thank you to all and my best to everyone in their quit efforts!

You have successfully navigated through a month of triggers and patterns.

Congratulations !

One month is great.

When you stop taking nicotine, withdrawals will stop completely.

The withdrawals will stay with you as long as you administer the drug, that's just the nature of it.

As smokers we were in constant withdrawal and bumping up every 20 minutes or so.

That's awesome, Mona!  I'm really happy for you.  :)

Keep up the great work!

Brilliant! A month is amazing. Stay focussed and determined 🤗

Congratulations Mona, I hope you're thinking of something special to do or buy for yourself to celebrate 😊 We're here for you the whole step of the way so don't forget to give a shout out if you get a bad crave on the reduced nicotine. We will do everything we can to help you past it 😊

Way to go Mona, celebrate this and reward yourself

1 Month is fabulous! Be very proud. It's the most difficult month of all when anyone quits. Savor the moment then push on to month #2 which will bring it's own challenges but not like month #1 :)

Congratulations Mona.  I thought the first month was the toughest.  Now just keep looking ahead and don't look back.  Every day you get stronger.  Keep that quit going.
