Greetings NOPErs... sorry so late... but of course today has been a day of NOPE... so we have two days to celebrate today... one for the drinkers and one for the non-drinkers....As it is the first Friday in August today is International Beer Day... so for my dad this is a more significant holiday than Christmas, Easter and Father's Day combined... he cooks his dinner with beer, he drinks 3 beers during the day he has never tasted before and he starts a home brew..... now for the benefit of everyone else in the world (who hasn't been down under for a holiday) we don't drink Fosters we just send it over for you lot and keep the good stuff for ourselves.. if you in the beer section at your bottle-o (grog shop, offy, liquor store).. and they have some Aussie Beer and the have a Crown Larger go for that or a Boags or even a Coopers and if your really lucky they might have a 150 Lashes.. now for those of us who know our bodies are temples (insert sarcastic eye roll) and refrain from alcohol for whatever reason we choose today is Watermelon Day .. now being the deepths of winter (17C/62F) watermelon isn't that much chop locally or that easy to find but I got some and have decided to celebrate this day with a lovely steamed fish dinner with a watermelon, basil and feta salad.

NOPE ... not today, not tomorrow, not ever, forever!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
