  5. NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Do yourself a favor Ray, go ahead and quit. I made the mistake of procrastinating before quitting. I called it "planning", but in reality is was me finding excuses to keep feeding my addiction. Looking back, the procrastination period was more of a pain in the ass than the actual quit. The quit was a challenge, but I was making progress everyday. During the procrastination period, I was just spinning my wheels and finding ways to get myself all wound up. I call it the Tom Petty rule: The waiting is the hardest part...

Of course you know where you're headed...to a solid quit. I was a serial quitter over a long period of time, but the desire to quit grew stronger as time went by. I found my "why," a strong "why." When you find a strong enough reason to quit, you will. An effort, even if failed, is not futile, in my opinion. You learned something--your reason to quit wasn't strong enough. Don't give up on yourself. If you didn't want to quit, you wouldn't have attempted it in the first place. Good luck!

Sorry to hear this. You can`t change what has happened in the past but you can change the ending yet to come. Think about this for a bit. Most all of us have tried to quit and have failed before it stuck. You know you don`t want to smoke and you will quit someday. just hope it`s sooner than later. best wishes.

So that's it? After all that, you're just going to go back to smoking?

  19. I wish that I never learned what pollen is. The itchy eyes, sneezing, and yellow dust that covers everything is bad enough. Then I remember that the stuff covering my truck is tree sperm and frankly, that's kind of gross.

Never quit the quit and keep coming back!! Educate yourself! Once you fully understand the addiction, you will have absolutely NO PROBLEM committing to your quit because you will KNOW beyond doubt that smoking does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for you. NOTHING! Smother yourself in videos and reading material!! CONSTANTLY! It's what helped me! I even got an app to go to sleep to for quitting smoking. I Saturated myself in it KNOWING that one day it will "sink in" as long as kept doing it. Daily actions! that is what counts! Hope you get back on the quit train and NOPE!

Failures are common on the road to success Most of us F'ed up many quits before the one that stuck Keep on keepin on
  22. NOPE feeling it-
  23. So I have decided that tonight I will smoke my last cigarette and go to bed a non smoker. Things seem to be falling into place in my mind and tonight is definitely the night. I can't just bin what I have and get going - I'm someone who has to have a plan. What has brought me to this point is : The wonderful support in this thread. You all have invested time and effort and I need to put some time and effort into starting my quit ♥️ It's shameful that I came back a year ago and I'm still flouncing around here as a smoker 🙄 I can sit around like a Debbie Downer and complain about how hard this is to do, or I can grow a pair and just get on with it and love being a non smoker My left foot and ankle is getting blacker by the day. I have numbness, daily cramping and intense itching. It's clearly not serious as it's been going on for months but why wait until it's too late for health issues And the final reason is I really want this and I CAN do it 😀
  24. Bad skin, since quitting my skin is so much better, more colour and smoother. Also, no bags under my eyes
  25. For some (like me), smoking causes you to feel ashamed of yourself. You know it's a dirty, nasty habit, so you try to hide it from those who "don't know."
  26. Seeing your grown up daughter cry.....cos she loves you ,and is scared of the horror of what is happening....
  27. Anger in your non-smoking family members having to see you kill yourself with cigarettes.
  28. Smoking consumes your thoughts and drives you to do disgusting things, like pick through ashtrays and smoke cigarettes that have gotten wet or have holes in them. You are anxious for your fix all day, regardless of what you're doing or who you're with.
  29. Have to say it....erectile dysfunction....otherwise known as floppy dangler... :(
