That was part of the problem. I have gained a few pounds after my quit. Was able to find one outfit to squeeze in. Tried blow drying myself on the way out the door but still was a little damp. Yes Doreen, I could have used your frying pan. lol

Light the groom on fire, accidentally or metaphorically, of course. So glad I had you all in my heart. I am good. My quit is solid.
February 24, 20197 yr Pleased if all went well for you Linda ...never doubted your Quit for a second .xx
February 26, 20197 yr So from my front door to my work is 28.8km (17.89miles) by car... Which in peak hour traffic is a 1-1.5hr drive..meh no biggie... So how long does it take to travel that mere distance on public transport? It takes a minimum of 2 hours, closer to 2.5hrs....so if I walk out my front frickin door at 6:45am...I will get to work sometime between 8:30am and 9:25am......frucking fruck I dunno how much longer I can do this shit.
February 26, 20197 yr Crap ..... That's a fair way Jo ..there and back !!! When I worked I walked there in 15 minutes...in winter ,snow on the ground .a bit longer ... Still quicker than getting the car out ....besides no buses went that way either....
February 26, 20197 yr Both my work and private phone gave up on me, on the same day. And somehow I ran out of coffee. And why can't I just deal in NORMAL ways with stimuli or in this case, the lack of that. FFS!

G’day I know how you feel? For some reason they don’t want you to drive after a stroke, I suppose they are a bit worried about you being in charge of a coupla tons of steel and glass at 100kph.... Anyway I’ve finally got clearance to drive and the battery in the truck shits itself.... I’m writing this on the train after a vigorous 25 min walk to get to the station. Flipping hell. Poo Bum Bitch BUM! Ill get another tomorrow and that last docs Bill gunna hafta wait another week. Toying with the idea of getting a cheap battery but I know it’s not bloody worth it..,, Sheet! Grabed some barley sugar from the servo this morning as I walked past. At least the sugar makes up for lack of breakfast! C
February 26, 20197 yr Frickin Murphy's Law @Cbdave...I'm on a 5km restricted lisence ... They have issues with blackouts too... Still on the train....an I left at sparrows....livin in the west I walk towards the sunrise...heading to the first bus.
February 26, 20197 yr Um..it's not healthy skipping breaky @Cbdave. You should at least have a banana ?
February 26, 20197 yr At least you guys/gals don't have to put up with winter driving. After a while we just say: Fruck it! Hot Tub Time! Edited February 26, 20197 yr by reciprocity
February 26, 20197 yr I just can't imagine living somewhere that it takes 1-1.5 hours to get less than 20 miles away. That sounds horrible ?
February 26, 20197 yr Traffic is awful where I live all the time now.....no such thing as rush hour anymore....there is a small window of when there is little traffic....between 1 - 5 am and between 2 - 3 pm. Forget about taking the bus system...takes hours to get anywhere, if there is even a bus to take!! ?

Holy shit! My commute is almost an identical distance, just a touch over 18 miles. My drive time is typically right around 30 minutes. I could cut some time off of that, but those cops in Graysville are always running radar. Green Acres is the place for me....
February 28, 20197 yr WTFFFFF I had to get a new computer and I hate windows 10. I knew where everything was before. Do we have any computer geeks on the forum? I am trying to get my computer to recognize my font folder. Is there a simple way to install all my fonts into my new computer? I have a design program that I use all my fonts in. I would think that with the diversity of members we have out there, someone might have my answer?
February 28, 20197 yr I hear your pain LT! Had to get a new laptop last month and am now with Windows10 after having Win 7 for years ? Fortunately, I had a free setup at Best Buy by the Geek Squad so they set mine up with all the files I had on my old computer. Good luck with your font issue. Sorry I can't help you. Hopefully someone with more tech knowledge will chime in.

February 28, 20197 yr I don't think it will cover it all. It only has 22,000 miles on it but it's a 2007 ? I'm a little sore but luckily there was a witness who said it was the other drivers fault...……..
February 28, 20197 yr Glad your not broken.... super happy a witness stopped... now days many don't bother... sucks that the insurance isn't going to cover it all.
February 28, 20197 yr Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Happy you are alright though Material stuff can be replaced - you can't be.
February 28, 20197 yr Man, I tell you I've never been in an accident like that. Air bags deployed. My ankle is sore, I was locked in my seatbelt. She hit me hard!!! Hubby is NOT happy, always money with him BUT he did come right away....
