Still go to the doctor and get checked out... shock is a wonderful anaesthetic....so you might feel a little bit sore but with soft tissue stuff it can get worse over time. Just think how much worse it could have been without a seatbelt or airbags...glad hubby came straight away.

 

 

aw Jillar.  be sure to go to doctor.  This will be helpful with insurance also 

and often injuries don't show up until later like Jo says.

 

Not going to go to the dr. at this point.  I hate drs. but if I feel worse later than for sure. Thank you for your concerns everyone. I'm just sick that I'm without a car now and no rental car on my policy ? I did call Onstar and apologize for how I behaved to them. They were so nice to come right on and I had a total asthma attack and couldn't talk PLUS some guy was at my car door trying to help get me out of the car. He ended up cutting the airbag and getting me out in case the steering wheel airbag deployed. I didn't get to thank him either ?

For some reason I thought you were in California.  My brother lives out there and when we visit I white knuckle it all the way.    All the crazy drivers live out there!  I am very glad you are okay.  I bet you really feel it tomorrow.  I do hope you went and got yourself checked out.   Gee Jillar, you don' have any padding lol.

Thanks Jordan.  This is helpful.  The only problem is I have to individually install each font.  I have tons.  I use to be able to extract them to a folder on my desktop and the computer would recognize them.  On windows 10, you have to install them to a certain place.

Yes.  The children are smarter than us when it comes to electronics.  I probably would have gone to my grand kids if I could not figure it out.  

Anytime you want to get rid of her, I would take her in a minute.  I love kids.

She's a pretty good one, so keeping her for a while.... She has been agitating about doing the exchange student thing in a few years...so you never know.

I am in California Linda. I'm on the Central Coast though and don't have to worry about bad traffic. When I do go to Southern California, RARELY, it's white knuckled the whole way there!!! And yes, I'm already starting to feel it ?

I will @Doreensfree, I'm a bit sore today but I think I'll be ok. The insurance adjuster is coming at noon today. I'm glad they're so quick to do this. I'm just so hoping they don't total my car. I tossed and turned all night with reliving yesterday ?

I was able to find the gentlemen who helped me through the nextdoor.com site and thanked them for being there for me

Jillar, if you were not at fault the person that hit you should have to pay for your rental.  

I do hope that if you continue to hurt, you will get yourself checked out.  You may not have realized that you injured yourself.  You would not want to have problems down the line.  

My brother lives in Redondo Beach.  It is a nightmare driving in his area.  He always picks us up at the airport and does the 25 min drive in 15 minutes.  I think he just closes his eyes when he has to merge into the six lanes of traffic.  

Your accident sounded awful and will be traumatizing for a while.  Please take care.  We love you!

Forget the rental car.

Your Hubby should be arranging for transportation more suitable to your status in life!

At this point we don't have the drivers name OR whether she was insured ? If she was then yes I think her insurance will cover the rental. We'll just have to see...……….

Oh noooo, Jillar!    So glad you're okay,  but still not a fun experience.  Not good when those big metal things run into each other.  I hope the adjuster gives you a fair deal and you can get some fancy new wheels soon.  Maybe something like this.
