Being in pain is bad enough.  Throw in the fact that the emergency room experience sucks...and you've got the makings of a really crap day.

I really don't understand why they would relate smoking to a sore back?? That is a stretch in my opinion but I'm not a doctor. I don't even understand how whether you ever smoked or not would come into the conversation when you have a back problem. That's just weird!

Sorry you have hurt your back Linda ...this sucks big style ..it sounds like a pulled muscle ..although I'm not a quack ...

I too carnt see the comparison to smoking ..

I remember I stretched in bed one morning .and O.m.G ..I felt like a red hot poker had been thrust in my back ...( I should be so lucky )...

Back stuff is so painful...rest ....I'm sure that would be the first suggestion....

I would also suggest at least one bottle of this magical potion per day.

Still waiting in emergency room.  Could use one now.  Smoking was my only vice.  I really need to start a new one!

Okay. I am out and nothing life threatening.  Just a sprained back.  Strict orders for nightly rubdowns from hubby,  take it easy, good dose of antiinflammatories and pain meds.  Have to wait on reci's elixir.

Thanks for seeing me through the longest ER visit in history.  You guys can always make me smile.

Make sure you have your anti inflams about 10 mins after food, never on an empty tummy...they are harsh on the ok gut.

 

Oh and hope you have a speedy recovery.

A month and a half after my car got totaled my insurance has determined that the other driver ran a red light, duh... Luckily she has insurance BUT my insurance is "requesting" that they pay the damages, including my $1,000.00 deductible. WTF is requesting?! AND my insurance said it could take weeks or even months for them to get back to me on whether her insurance will pay my deductible! It's bullshit, I really think my insurance is only going to try to get back the money they are out and not force her insurance to pay my deductible so then I will either have to take her to court or lose it 😞 😡

Insurance is such a racket anymore.  We had someone hit us and was at fault.   Our insurance company said we had to pay the deductible to get the car fixed and then they would go after the woman's insurance company.  The woman was fighting it.  It does not seem like the insurance companies represent you.   

Must be different up there.... My mum had an accident (totally her fault) mum just paid the deductable and her insurance paid the other person's insurance.. cos that's kinda their job? WTF....even if the other person isn't insured, as long as you are shouldn't be a problem your fruckin insurance knobbies should cover you and then the onus is on them to chase the frickin other person...that's why you pay insurance. Cvnty fruck knuckles.

My insurance already paid out to me what "they felt" was my cars worth and that was actually pretty quick. It's just the matter now of getting my $1,000.00 deductible back from the other insurer. Only time will tell I guess, so stay tuned...…………………..

Just got a call from Windows tech support saying my frucking computer is locked up 😞 I screamed into the damn phone "Oh no, my closet is locked up?" To which she replied 'have you been to your computer today?'  I told her 'no, I haven't opened my closet today'. 

And she hung up.

Now how am I going to fix my computer? LOL 🤣

I love my LazyBoy couch with electric recliners at each end.  The only problem we have found is it is so heavy to move.

I enjoy talking to telemarketers and phone scammers about religion.  Start off with a few simple questions: "are you washed in the blood?"  If they make it past the first few questions, that's when I breakout some choice quotes from the Book of Revelation.  Some guy who was going to lower my interest rates on a credit card that I don't even have called me a couple of months ago.  After I told him about the Whore of Babylon and said there will be seven trumpets, seven bowls, and seven plagues...He asked: "would there be a better time for me to call back?"  I'm not sure why, but that made me laugh.

 

I could just hang up on them, but there's more sport in getting them to hang up on me.

I get a call from this guy out of the country, he checks on me a few times a week and wants to discuss my car warranty

I had the newspaper keep calling me a few years ago even though I already was a subscriber so I finally got sick of telling them that I already got the paper and instead said "Is this some kind of sick joke? I'm blind!" 

 

Needless to say they never called back...…………..
