  1. Very fashionable!
  2. Great song choice Jimmy!
  3. I'm very sad to see you leave Markus, but I too understand. I have thoroughly enjoyed your words of encouragement and wisdom. You've been an incredible asset to these boards. Congrats on your 6 years of non-smoking bliss. :) Take care.
  4. Hehe, oh god... trying to teach Steve this dance would be impossible, lol. He's so awkward when he tries to dance. I'm not much better, but at least I can move my hips a little bit. He's as stiff as a board! But I love his efforts, lol.
  5. Exactly what TAC said. Don't worry about disappointing us. We're here to support you, regardless of what happens. What can you take from this? Really evaluate why this happened and what you can do next time.
  6. These are a few of the songs I want played at my wedding next year, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvMVCHhwTPs
  7. Wow, you really brought it down. Nicely done!
  8.   @ that video Nancy. "Why are they encouraging deers to cross at a busy intersection."
  9. I'm assuming Christmas back in the late 80s/early 90s (no one ever put a label on pictures back then!). Of course I'm right upfront, trying to hog all the attention. My brother's crying in the background... isn't it clear how much fun we were having? Lol.
  10. Awesome job for kicking some serious trigger butt Julie! Our brains seem to be very good at storing information about our routines. Now that you're changing your routine though, your brain will retrain itself. And I'm glad you brought food! I was worried too, lol.
  11. Really great job Evelyn! I'm very proud of you. :) Keep at it. You're doing amazing!
  12. If you all haven't noticed, I absolutely love Queen. :)
  13. Woohoo, congrats on your 3 months EB. :) What an achievement! Way to go and KTQ!
  14. Yes, how are things going Evelyn? I'm very proud of you. :) You are doing so well. Keep it up!
  15. Same here! No smoking for me whatsoever. :) I love my NOPE life.
  16. Thanks guys! I was using MFP (MyFitnessPal) for a while, but got discouraged when I wasn't losing any weight. Even though I had changed my diet and was working out more. Well, I've started logging my food again and have decided not to weigh myself every day or obsess about it. I'm going to look for healthy recipes and cut out what I think would add on the pounds (soda, chips, etc.) I bought some healthier snack alternatives yesterday. My biggest problem is I'm not very strict and I tend to give into temptation. When I cave, I cave hard! I overdo it because I've neglected myself of particular foods. I think the key here is moderation and being accountable for what I eat and how much I work out. Colleen, I'm really considering joining a gym. I need to lose a lot of weight and I want to do it the natural way. The doctor asked me if I've considered surgery, but I really don't want to go that route. I am so stressed about all of this! I have been big my entire life and try my best to stay active, but I really struggle with losing the weight and keeping it off. Oh, if any of you have healthy snack and breakfast ideas, let me know!
  17. Dancing awkwardly at my computer... glad no one's around to see this, lol. Have a good day everyone!

Oh god Tracey, I'm sorry! Lol, I guess I forgot to turn it off Action. :P

I can't remember the song! It was probably something by Queen. I've been listening to Queen a lot in the mornings.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
