  1. Couldn't agree with you more Julie. NOPE!

Brunch (since my BF and I won't be cooking tonight): Chicken fajita with chicken (obviously), sauted onions/bell peppers, homemade guacamole," bacon bits, salsa, snow peas, tomatoes, cheese. Not exactly healthy, but definitely delicious!
  3. This is fantastic. Thanks for sharing EB!

Woohoo, congrats on your 5 months Joe! What a feat. :) Excellent job!
  5. Lovely LB. Thanks for sharing. :)
  6. This is a cool idea! Very nice LB. :) Like you said, if someone is serious about quitting, why not? This will only confirm someone's desire! Love it.
  7. Pretty much everything we did as smokers, we associated it with smoking. It's just another association you have yet to break. Like others have mentioned, try maybe munching on something? As soon as your brain realizes you've changed your routine, you will stop associating the activity with smoking. :)
  8. Smoking is not an option today, thanks! NOPE!

I don't know. The groom job doesn't look horrible to me. I'm sure he's cute no matter what. :) Besides, the more you do it, the better you'll get!

My contribution to Easter dinner tonight. Sorry the picture is so large!
  11. Sucks for them, but good for you! A kid-free home for the night. :D How nice! (I really do hope your in-laws feel better soon though)
  12. Hey Sarah: Good on you for not smoking! Sorry to hear you can't access the chat though... hm.

So much cuteness! I want to adopt this guy: http://ottawahumane.ca/adoption/petharbor_cats.cfm
  15. I was actually going to suggest this one, lol. I think #1 of the new choices is beautiful as well!

Smoking will not make the screeching go away, nor will it "help calm your nerves." It's all lies! Don't listen to that junkie BS. 3 months... that's a long time. That's one hell of a quit! Keep with it. You can do this. Hold on tightly and don't let that quit go. Smoking will achieve nothing... you will be back to square one and will have to go through Hell Week yet again.
  17. Happy Easter everyone! Hope it is a special occasion for all. Will be thinking of my mom this weekend, so I appreciate family being down to keep me company. (Plus, my aunt made nanaimo bars...)
  18. Absolutely LB! It's all about attitude. Your quit is only as miserable as you make it out to be.

Don't smoke Evelyn. You can do this! We're here for you, every step of the way. I'm so glad you posted this SOS. When is your friend coming? That will be a great distraction. In the meantime, just keep yourself busy. Keep reading and replying to the posts on here, listen to music. Deep breaths. You've got this!
  21. Nicely put Julie! No smoking for me today. Gross. NOPE!
  22. Definitely better teeth! I have had two teeth extractions and a root canal and I'm only 26. :( My teeth are much cleaner/happier right now.
  23. Exactly what Petra said Amy. If you think about smoking, picture us from the sidelines. I am very confident that you won't smoke though. You said you won't and I believe you. You are so close to two weeks, which means you are out of Hell Week and Heck Week. That's something to be extremely proud of. I can't wait to congratulate you on those two weeks! I am so very excited/proud. :) How is everyone else doing? Please keep us updated!
  24. Haven't saved any myself personally, but good for you Paula. :D 6K is awesome!
  25. Love it Markus. Very well put. :)
