So much cuteness! I want to adopt this guy: http://ottawahumane.ca/adoption/petharbor_cats.cfm
  4. I was actually going to suggest this one, lol. I think #1 of the new choices is beautiful as well!

    SOS.

Smoking will not make the screeching go away, nor will it "help calm your nerves." It's all lies! Don't listen to that junkie BS. 3 months... that's a long time. That's one hell of a quit! Keep with it. You can do this. Hold on tightly and don't let that quit go. Smoking will achieve nothing... you will be back to square one and will have to go through Hell Week yet again.
  6. Happy Easter everyone! Hope it is a special occasion for all. Will be thinking of my mom this weekend, so I appreciate family being down to keep me company. (Plus, my aunt made nanaimo bars...)
  7. Absolutely LB! It's all about attitude. Your quit is only as miserable as you make it out to be.

  9. Don't smoke Evelyn. You can do this! We're here for you, every step of the way. I'm so glad you posted this SOS. When is your friend coming? That will be a great distraction. In the meantime, just keep yourself busy. Keep reading and replying to the posts on here, listen to music. Deep breaths. You've got this!
  10. Nicely put Julie! No smoking for me today. Gross. NOPE!
  11. Definitely better teeth! I have had two teeth extractions and a root canal and I'm only 26. :( My teeth are much cleaner/happier right now.
  12. Exactly what Petra said Amy. If you think about smoking, picture us from the sidelines. I am very confident that you won't smoke though. You said you won't and I believe you. You are so close to two weeks, which means you are out of Hell Week and Heck Week. That's something to be extremely proud of. I can't wait to congratulate you on those two weeks! I am so very excited/proud. :) How is everyone else doing? Please keep us updated!
  13. Haven't saved any myself personally, but good for you Paula. :D 6K is awesome!
  14. Love it Markus. Very well put. :)
  15. (((((Everyone as usual))))) :D

  20. Welcome to QT Chrispy! Congrats on how far along you are in your quit. :)
  21. Hey Sarah: Sorry I'm late... I'm always late for these! Welcome to QT and congrats on your decision to quit. :D I promise, it IS the best decision you will ever make! Maybe I'm biased, but QT has a very special place in my heart. You will find the support you need here. The people are fantastic. Stay close to the board, keep reading, and post as often as you'd like. :)
  22. You got that right!
  23. Hey Juan: Welcome back! Remember, always post here first. We're only here to help you!

Have a safe and fun trip Gemma! :D

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
