  6. I am so incredibly sad to read this news about Jillar. We “met” many years ago on the QSMB, and I remember her as being one of the kindest, most supportive, positive people on the board. Rest in peace dear Jillar, knowing that you had such a positive impact on so many lives. Your many posts will live on and continue to inspire new quitters for many years to come.

  8. I am just learning this terrible news. I met Jillar on the OG Quitnet site, and I've always been so inspired by and grateful for her contributions to that place, QSMB, and Quittrain. I extend my deepest condolences to her family and friends, Christian99

  9. Oh, what devastating news. Jillar was a integral contributor to the QTrain and will be sorely missed. I will think of her out there having laughs in the universe and still helping quitters here with her posts.

  11. Oh my. This is awful news. Jill’s strong and warm presence was such important glue in this quitting family. She helped me so much, and I’m missing her a lot. But every one of us who stays quit honors her with each breath we take. And now we have our very own angel bunny watching over us. Rest in peace dearest Jill.

  16. Always liked her dirty name, at least to me it meant something dirty.(if you spell it Jiller and make it a verb) I know she had a LOT of patience for the group. Really she was the moderator who put it out there. But maybe I got the name wrong. sad to see anyone leave especially an old friend. Even when they end up in a better place we hate change, resistance is not an option with death but we don’t have to like it. really can’t say I know much about her.Big ears and teeth from her picture. Or again maybe the rabbit was her favorite toy. Either way let’s assume she was cuddling and felt good as she was good to have responded to anything posted. so here is my poem copied from Google- think it fits here for this group as her writing with still be with us Don't cry for me now I have died, for I'm still here I'm by your side, My body's gone but my soul is here, please don't shed another tear, I am still here I'm all around, only my body lies in the ground.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
