August 17, 20215 yr This is the only part of pet parenthood I don't like. I can't just get up and go if I want. They freak out when I just go to the store. The cost of boarding them and thinking about how scared they would be keeps me from going anywhere. Silly but true, let's face it, I could not leave my child and I would not want that for my dogs. My son took my big bear to his house after my hip replacement so he would not knock me down, he was so happy to come home and be with the littles again.
