October 26, 20205 yr Waitingfor a call from my lawyer about setting up a will and some other issues. Struggling about smoking right now. I feel like I can't get through this without smoking. I don't have any in the house but the store is about 5 minutes away. Seems like I can't make it a week.
October 26, 20205 yr Smoking isn't going to help you relieve your stress, it will only add to it! Once you see that you can get through this situation without smoking, your confidence level will go up and you'll feel like you won this battle. Once you're finished with the attorney, treat yourself to something to celebrate. Rewards work wonders.

October 26, 20205 yr Your stress and your addiction are not connected, you are only using one to excuse the other.
October 26, 20205 yr Linda, you've got this now. You posted an SOS instead of smoking. That cigarette does nothing to serve you. Take a deep breath and face your challenges with your new found strength!
October 26, 20205 yr Deep down you want to save your precious quit ....well done for reaching out .... Ask your self ...would smoking alter anything ???? You will still have to face what was happening with a cigerette in your hand ... It's that old saying ..my friend the cigerette...gets me through the crap.... Lies all of it ....you deal with the curve balls of life much stronger when your not going through Nicotine withdrawal... Stay strong Linda ....it's the only way forward ...
October 26, 20205 yr Fight on Linda. I'm sure you don't want to repeat the first week of quitting all over again. You can do this and you know deep down that you must do this.
October 26, 20205 yr Can't lives on won't street. You can because you live on will street Linda! Use your air cigarette to get you through the call or suck on candies. Play games, take a walk. You are too close to a week quit to give it up now. Stick close and be proud of yourself for posting for the extra support...
October 26, 20205 yr Look at all the wonderful people here that ran to your aid with sage advice just when you needed it! Isn't this place just the best Linda!
October 26, 20205 yr Author Yes it is and they all have been there for me which I am grateful. But feel like I am letting everyone down
October 26, 20205 yr You didn't let anyone down. It was awesome that you posted an SOS instead of giving in to the addiction. I don't mean to sound condescending, but I'm proud of you. Great job Linda.
October 26, 20205 yr You have let nobody down Linda....it's the opposite...you have fought for your Quit !!! The only way you would let us down would be if you Smoke .... And I'm sure that's not going to happen 😂
October 26, 20205 yr Way to go Linda! The more times you kick the crave in the butt and send it down the road the easier this will become. You`ve done really well. Best wishes and hang in there it is well worth it.
October 27, 20205 yr Great job fighting through this, Linda. Times like this make your quit stronger.
November 22, 20214 yr I am fine, no problem but MLMR is restarting the quit and needs support. If you can please send good thoughts that would be great. K
