  1. Hey everyone: I just spent 60 minutes at the gym and I really want to record my exercise hours, but am having a hard time doing so in MyFitnessPal. I did the treadmill for 20 minutes, a bunch of strength machines for 40 minutes, and the elliptical for 4-5 minutes. Does anyone know what I'd put in MyFitnessPal? I really want to keep track of my minutes of exercise.
  2. I was thinking TAC when I read this as well, but yeah, I definitely miss HAT too. Has anyone heard from them?!
  3. Damn. That elephant was twerking!
  4. Yay Ross, 11 months is such a strong quit! Hopefully you are very proud of yourself (I know I am!) Thank you so much for being such a great friend and paying it forward. The board wouldn't be the same with you. Personally, I feel like you're more of a friend to me and Steve than most of the people I know in person. You are a fantastic person and a BIG CONGRATS to you and Tasha for your journey/accomplishments so far! ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  6. Feeling really sad today. Sigh.
  7. Please think of me while you're eating KFC Nancy. I would like to live vicariously through you.
  8. Ugh, smoking sucks. NOPE!
  9. 6 months! Yay Marti. :) Amazing job!
  10. - Never smelling like smoke. Trust me, you can smell a smoker from a mile away. - Not having to hide anything from people. I was so embarrassed of my addiction. - Not missing valuable time with my loved ones. I want to be able to spend as much time with them as possible because you never know what's going to happen. - Being able to say I quit and truly meaning it this time. The sense of freedom and accomplishment is amazing. - Not having to take my inhaler all the time or wake up with a morning cough. These are just some of the benefits of not smoking. :)
  11. Nancy, my sleep study doctor would personally kill me if I ate this menu, lol. But good luck!
  12. Woo, 500 days is awesome! I know what you mean... when I tried to "quit" before this quit, I couldn't go 2-3 hours without craving. Now I go months without one! Definitely attainable. High 5 Jen! :D
  13. Mmmm, Smarties.
  14. Good information Beacon! I was in denial too Jen. I think we all were. We tell ourselves, "That won't happen to me." Often though, people don't stop until they have a "wake up call" and sometimes those wake up calls are fatal or permanent. The reality of what smoking does or can do to a person is terrifying and now that I am a non-smoker, I know that really is no way to live. It's not worth the risk.
  15. Hahaha, these always crack me up Jenny!

I agree. Keep the kid pictures coming! They are so adorable. Not going to lie... I have a little baby fever going on.
  17. Definitely NOPE!
  18. Another period commercial, lol:
  19. Ryevita and tuna mixed with avocado for dinner. Yum? I don't think I'll ever truly enjoy avocados, but I keep trying.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
