    Hit or miss

Hit: Getting my hair cut and having my MIL compliment me, saying I look healthy and happy. Miss: Almost calling off my wedding. :( Yesterday was especially bad. This week in general has been so bad.
  6. Are those supposed to be ovaries on the bottom?! Lol, I really have no idea.
  7. Sam Smith breaks my heart, but I can't stop listening to him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K75A16HRdBY

That's crazy! It's a lemange (half lemon, half orange)
  10. I love you Doreen, lol. You are so hilarious! Years ago, I used to really like this Celine Dion perfume. I am really sensitive to smells, but this one had a very light smell. Nothing potent and was kind of sweet. My biggest problem with perfume is people use way too much. There was one lady who got on the apartment elevator with me and I couldn't breathe. She smelled like moth balls and death, I swear.
  11. Agreed with S and Action, Post as many SOS's as you need to. There are no limitations on those!
  12. I believe so DD. Beavertails are amazing. Yum!
  13. I love Ottawa! When I was younger, I hated it here. I'm from the country (Napanee/Belleville/Kingston area) and never thought I'd get accustomed to "city life," but I decided to move here and don't have any plans on moving any time soon. :) I haven't had a Beavertail in forever. Yum! (No guys, it's not actual beavertail). I am so not looking forward to winter. I like fall. If the weather was 15-16C all year round, I'd be happy!
  14. I kind of know where that is, or at least I know of it! I've been in Ottawa for three years, but have lived in Ontario my entire life. :) Are you ready for our approaching winter? :P

  16. Wow, awesome job Tom! Two months is a pretty solid quit. :) Very proud of you!
  17. I'm listening to Louis Prima (King Louie from The Jungle Book) and Dean Martin this morning. So relaxing:
  18. You are a gorgeous lady Slovenka! Which part of Canada are you in by the way? Not sure if I've asked. I'm in Ottawa.
  19. Most likely! Lol. There's a reason I changed my user name.

    Cute Gemzee!
  21. Early morning here. Big ol' NOPE for me today!
  22. Admittedly, I do love the smell of bakon.
  23. Just deodorant. I am really sensitive to perfume and don't often wear it.
  24. I think I missed the drama... or I avoided it. Either way, he's fairly young, isn't he? Quitting young is the best decision a young person can ever make. I'm glad I quit at the age I did. I think I had an easier time than most, especially those with 20, 30, 40 years of smoking.
  25. I can quit smoking, but I can't quit food. WTF is wrong with me? UGH.

      Jimmy is right.

      Love you Jimmy !

      You gotta eat well!

make eating a holy ritual not something mindless or casual.

      You're a Good Cook !

      Yum !

You are not made to quit FOOD. You can eat plenty of food, just choose wisely. Find healthy things you like. Healthy diet changes are made gradually...

Sorry guys. I just had a bad morning. I was really disappointed in myself because I have been trying so hard to eat better. When I cave though, I cave hard!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
