  6. I can't wait to see Mikey tomorrow. We were gone for the weekend and are picking him up from Steve's parents tomorrow.
  7. Always thinking about you hun. I'm happy you checked in and said hi, but can understand not being in the right mood. ((((((Big hugs)))))))))

I hope so too! Miss him. Hope he comes back soon. :(
  9. I grew up listening to ABBA, Cyndi Lauper, Heart, Queen, etc. That's usually what I gravitate towards. When I'm feeling nostalgic, I listen to '90s music.

What happened? Any reason why he hasn't been around?
  11. I would say I'm a mix of all four (and I love earlier music as well). I probably know the most about the '90s because I grew up in that era.

Wanted to share my beauty shot with you all. I was thinking about using it for my wedding website, lol:
  15. You are amazing Ross. Congrats! I am so proud of you. :) Thanks for all you do here -- you have always been a great support system. :D WTG!

  20. I see a tab called "Quittrain Merch" beside Chat.
  21. I'm here. Kind of. Been swamped with homework. Yaaaay, lol.
  22. I don't have much to add that hasn't already been said Wendy. Sorry you had such a rough treacle day. :( I hope you're feeling better! I can assure you that this too will pass. When I first quit, I had so many issues going on with my body. I guess that's our body's natural response to change, especially a big change like quitting smoking. Definitely try the baking soda/warm water solution Beacon was mentioning. I get mouth ulcers all the time (yay me) and I have tried just about everything. I know how painful eating gets.
  23. Big ol' NOPE from me today!
  24. Nicely said everyone! I agree 100% with what Apeezy said -- the thought of quitting is much more overwhelming than actually doing so. Just rip the bandaid off and commit. :) Like Doreen said, if you wobble, just don't fall. Come here and post instead. We're here to help!
  25. "What up mom?" Mikey's cousins Mini (left) and Alby (right). I really think this family has an obsession with orange cats:

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
