wuss / wussy ..... rhymes with pvssy (and wuss is just puss as in puss in boots) .... it is a person who is being weak as piss, so afraid to put in or have a go, usually a bloke... some examples: when my cousin rings his dad to go to his house to get the dead mouse outa the trap: "Fer farks sake Luke stop being such a wussy" so he rings our other cousin and gets: "Man up ya cvnt and stop bein a wuss" so he rings his mum and whinges that his dad and our cus are being mean to him "I haven't time for this Luke and you are being a wussy" so he rings me: mobile phone screen display says Wussy "Hey Wussy what's wrong?"

Hey Phillyquitter, welcome to the QT and congratulations on making the best decisions ever. You have quit smoking and that is pretty bloody awesome. So I've just gone six months since my last smoke. I'm lucky in that for me now most of my craves, if I even get them, are just passing thoughts and pretty pathetic. I go whole days without even thinking about smoking regardless of what crap gets thrown my way, its more the firsts now... eat a a favourite restaurant and walk out the door and that little voice (and its like a whisper now not the screaming, raging harpy it used to be) say "oh, smoke time".. I there is a slight twinge, cos up until 6 months ago hell yeah, but nope I just sort of laugh to myself and move along. I remember where you are and all the old phartes (over 1 year quit) and people further on than me saying it gets easier, trust us, thinking to myself yeah but I'm different, its not getting better, I'm sick of this, its just going on for ever, and then suddenly (and for me it was suddenly) I just went oh, I haven't had to rock like a loon to not have a smoke for, well, hours? days?... I don't remember when. It will happen, sooner than you think. Just hang in there mate cos its gunna get better.

Spewin ... so depends on the context... it can mean to be disappointed, it can also mean to be vomiting... I'm frickin spewin that at saintas are havin such a frick crap season. Well happy Sundee to those in the land of NOPE. Today is Ball Point Pen Day, because 75 years ago today the USA patent was issued to the Biro brothers from Hungry for their new invention, the ball point pen, before then your option was pencil, slate or a fountain pen. I think @Sslip remembers chiselling things into stone tablets too. So because once upon a time in the olden days we didn't type everything and biros are way easier to use than fountain pens we say woohoo to the Biro. To a world without ball point pends and lungs full of smoke and tar I say: NOPE ... cos nothing controls my life but me. Topic of the Day: Sundee Slang Fest... come along and share your slang, there is an angry Scot amongst us so there should be so good ones today... (For those who don't know, Topic of the Day is an A-Z game in the games thread)

Just a tip on 'air cigs' or substitute cigs (a macca's1 or hungry jacks2 straw cut to length), a pencil... these a great... I need that tactile thing and a pure JAC doesn't cut it for me... well back to the tip/warning... biros/pens not such a good option, especially if you've already chewed the top off... because if your really stressed and you give it a good, hard drag you can end up with a mouth full of ink, which tastes pretty crappy and makes ya look pretty silly. 1. True .. 14-19 ... but it was torture the whole time cos I really wanted to be eating meat and I was just doing to to piss off me mum and then because it was cheaper at uni to do the vego thing than the meat eater thing... never went vegan but was ovolactive. TNP has done something made them self suffer to piss of someone else.
