Resignation

Featured Replies

I finally resigned at my job. Had to send it by email and cc the hr manager to make my boss take me seriously. They called me at home. 20 years :( very hard

Awww I'm sorry Beacon but it sounded like you were miserable there. This is the start of bigger and better for you! :D (((((Beacon)))))

More time for beach and a better pet like a DOG

Sorry Beacon, but you were not happy...you deserve better.  Can't wait to see what opportunities come your way!

20 years is a long time, but I agree... you were miserable. Just think, you are free now!

You deserve better B.

Good luck Mel no need to stay where you are by far unhappy but good things await You   :)

I agree....20years is a long time to give to folks who do not appreciate you,and all you do....

I wish you well sweetheart...and find a job where your happy.....

As one door closes...another one opens...

Hugs xx

Tough day Beacon.

But

The start of a new Chapter! Well done for taking the leap.

Hey Mel ... I can imagine it is scarey ... But you sounded miserable so I say great job :-). And think more time to travel / do things while you work out where to next ?? I would suggest visiting ... But me think you would be a bit cold here - we are coming to winter and sometimes it gets to single figures (Celsius not Fahrenheit of course ! ). ...way too cold for a Florida girl :-)

Sending out calming vibes to you my friend. ((Mel))

However you were so badly mistreated for the longest time, I know with a bit of space and time you will see you have done yourself a very good deed. You are better, you deserve better and now you can open yourself up to the brand new opportunities the universe is bound to have for you.

Well done brave lady!!

So it's two of us. Except, my managers knew this time I wouldn't stay back. 20 years is a very long time! changes can be scary. I hope you set things in the right place real soon!

Oh, Mel, that would be so scary...but I am so proud for you...there is something much better waiting for you.  (((Mel)))

That is scary!  I think it is about time though.  You deserve so so so so  much better.  Life is short and there is no reason to spend it working for people who don't appreciate you.  You have far to many qualifications for that.

I am jealous of your big balls.... I can't wait until mine grow in.

Well Done Mel, its a scary decision, you are making the right changes in your life, new doors will open for you,  big hugs to you onwards for you to better things xxx

Once you quit smoking you realize you have the balls . I had forgotten

I just resigned from my job of 10 years a few weeks ago and accepted a position at another company. They made it very hard on me after I told them they could not convince me to stay. It IS scary - that is normal after so long. I had some anxiety as well in a big way.

Now I'm travelin' the country for a few weeks training, (ok only in PA now and back in AZ next week, possibly WA in next few months) before I settle into my new office running the show. (Bye bye boys club.)

You and I really did not like our jobs, and it's well past time we moved in.

Once you quit smoking you realize you have the balls . I had forgotten

Good point.

Once the smoke has cleared, you can see the world as your play ground! Best of luck to you!

So glad for you, under the circumstances. That was all stress, and now it's a new start for you.

They have to deal with it, and they all know who made the place what it is..

Sorry for it going that way, but glad you finally made the choice.

Late on this response M...

Chin up!
