    Sick

Aw Jenny, I hope you feel better soon! I agree, hot toddies for sure. I've been sick this week as well. Not sure what the hell is wrong with me, but I don't much like it. If Steve pokes me, I'll explode. That's how sore my stomach is.

    Say what now?

I can't think of any right now, but I'm still laughing about Shinga Rays. Hilarious DF!
  7.   Damn, I lost A LOT of weight.
  8. Just an FYI... I have Steve playing now. We are both addicted.
  9. I have never been to Europe, so I have no idea why I picked the European Union map. I didn't do so badly though at 11917. I accidentally guessed Ireland instead of Scotland (whoops), but the French and Italian signs were dead giveaways.
  10. I am honestly addicted to this game. I should be doing homework, but it's so much fun. Score is 9572. Not the greatest I've done, but oh well! https://www.geoguessr.com/challenge/vK6oT5nBu4vQSuB1
  11. Nicely put MQ and Babs! I know the holidays are a rough time for a lot of people (me included), but MQ's right -- you're never alone. Feel free to post here throughout the holidays. I plan on being around as well, probably more so because school will be over and I'll have some time to unwind. I've been through the holidays a few times as a non-smoker and can assure you that smoking will not make the feelings associated with this time of year go away. Just trust that the longer your quit is, the easier it gets.
  12. Hey Tiffany! Great to "see" you. We've already celebrated our Thanksgiving, but I hope yours is wonderful! Same to all my American friends. :) Eat lots of pumpkin pie for me. Yuuum.
  13. Lol, hilarious! Now it's stuck in my head... "All about that baste, 'bout that baste."
  14. Eclairs.
  15. We get Boxing Day as well. No travelling for Christmas and our Thanksgiving was in October. I'm thinking about travelling for New Years though!
  16. I am not a cricket follower, but I read this news story this morning. Only 25. :( How tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with those closest to him. May he RIP.
  17. So I've only ever made butternut squash before and I put it in a crockpot. Tonight, I decided to bake an acorn squash. I cut the squash in half and added chopped pecans, butter, a bit of brown sugar, and water to the middles. I also baked some turkey breasts in a bunch of herbs and garlic. I made a pepper salad with a homemade dressing. Steve called our meal "gourmet," lol.
  18. Big NOPE for me today!
  19. Still here as well!
  20. I am at my best friends house. Her grandpa died last week at 57. He was a big man who smoked heavily. Just goes to show me that if I treat my body like crap, it will eventually catch up to me. Not worth it.
  21. I prefer my organs to be pink... not covered in tar. Just sayin'.
  22. Sorry I'm late. I'm so thrilled it's your one-year anniversary! So proud. :D
  23. I found Steve a Minecraft hoodie we've been looking for for over a year now. We could never find it in his size. I'm at my best friends almost four hours away from home and I managed to find it in the mall here without really even looking!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
