  1. Yummy!
  2. Great song Wendy! Another one of hers that has been stuck in my head all day:
  3. As always, it looks delicious Pippa!
  4. I'm so sorry to hear Gem. :(
  5. Definitely thinking about Trish, Holski, and Rachael. Hope they're okay!
  6. I didn't cook this. I'm not that talented. We decided to eat at a restaurant because we basically have nothing groceries wise. I ordered the steak salad, which was delicious and only 610 calories. Paired it with two cups of coffee and water with lime.
  7. Hi Kristin! Sounds like a perfect time for you to quit. :) You have a lot of people to keep you motivated, which is good. Congrats on your 6 days and congrats on your husband for quitting as well! I have asthma and when I smoked, I would sometimes gasp for air. It was terrifying and I never want to go back to that again. We're here with you every step of the way, so feel free to post as often as you'd like!
  8. Miserable here. Rain showers and wet flurries. 3C (37 in Fahrenheit). I get to go out in that. SO excited!
  9. Awww, a puppy golden retriever! Bet she's cute. :) There's definitely no need to apologize. Sometimes having enough free time to sit down and relax is a struggle in itself. I'm just glad you keep us updated when you can! :D Can't wait to see the pics!
  10. I've only been to The Works once, but it was an amazing experience! I really need to get downtown more often.

    Nancy

I agree Doreen -- Nancy is a sweetheart!
  12. Those look so good! Beacon is a genius. I'd totally add peanut butter to mine as well. Definitely dangerous. I doubt very much that I could just eat three.
  13. Omg Scott, that looks amazing! This was dinner last night. Steve had pasta with his, but I opted out and ate more veggies: Lunch today. Really tasty and spicy. Chicken, green peppers, mushrooms, couscous, and a bunch of seasonings.
  14. Probably too much exercise today (er, yesterday?) if there's such a thing. 85 minutes of Dance Dance Revolution and 60 minutes of walking. 145 minutes total; 1902 calories burned supposedly.
  15. According to my calculations, I have avoided 9561 cigarettes. So 92114 + 9561 = 101675
  16. When I quit smoking, I was smoking about 13 cigarettes a day because I was forced to smoke outside. I used to smoke at least a pack or more a day, so I don't know how accurate my meter really is. Actually, one sec... the meter isn't correct at all, lol.
  17. I deal with a lot of chest pain, but I have something called Costochondritis. The cartilage between my ribs swells and my entire left side hurts for days. I have had chest pains for years though and a lot of times, it was muscular or anxiety related. Definitely get it checked out, but don't freak out. Talk to your doctor first. He (or she) will run the necessary tests.
  18. 5 minutes of stretching, 10 minutes ab workout, 45 minutes of Dance Dance Revolution (I put it under "aerobics"), and 23 minutes of Wii Fit Plus (advanced setting).

    XRay

Good luck Gabby! I know how terrifying the lung x-ray is. I had one done about a year and a half ago. Thinking of you. Try not to fret too much. I was convinced something was wrong, but the results were fine.
  20. It makes me sad that I can't watch or read your suggestions right now! :( I'm stuck writing out a Workplace Violence Program. How exciting, I know.
  21. That stew looks amazing Tom! The pita pizzas were yummy. :) I'm not too fond of a lot of crust, so pitas work best for me. I made stuffed bell peppers tonight. These are substantial. I feel so full after one.
  22. Wow, that looks incredible Pippa. Last night was pita pizzas:
  23. I'm glad he came home Petra! :)
  24. Happy Halloween everyone! We have no plans this year and we don't get kidlets up here, so it's a pretty quiet night for us. I might just watch some scary movies. The amount of homework I have to do is also pretty terrifying, but that just sounds boring.
  25. Awww, the ninja turtle pumpkins sound like a really cool idea! Love the picture. :) Ross, your pumpkin is pretty fantastic as well! Good job.
