    Confessions

Confession: I should have waited until Halloween to buy the candy. I've been on a feeding frenzy with it since yesterday
  12. Yes lurkers, as you peruse the various posts take a look at our members tickers. The amount of money saved and cigarettes not smoked will astonish you. It still does me!

  15. Linda, you don't want to smoke, that's why you posted here I think a lot of us had pretty bad cravings around our three month mark and I for one reached out like you did. Remember that you are in control of your life and it really is ok to tell your folks that you're busy. Perhaps then they will ask instead of tell you when they need your help. I'm glad your friend is still with you, aren't you glad that when you hug her you don't smell like stale smoke
  16. Good for you Lilly Congratulations on being ready to put smoking behind you, and you know I'm looking forward to seeing those awesome charms you'll be getting each month

    Confessions

Scare the shit out of him @WeegieWoman that works every time AND it's fun! ?
  22. You iron?! AND tidy up?! Will you marry me?
  23. Such an inspirational post for everyone. Your strength and determination with so much sadness in your first year is amazing and I'm not sure I could have kept my quit with so much tragedy as you had/have to deal with. Thank you for sharing jo xoxo
  24. Another thing I used in my first months was my JAC (Jillars air cigarette). I just pretended I was holding a cigarette and then went through the motions of "smoking" it. I took deep drags too, which is really just deep breathing, but it was enough to trick my mind into thinking it was getting the real thing. Some people use pens or pencils or even cut straws. I liked my invisible one though because I like to look stupid puffing on an invisible cigarette lol.
  25. Then yes, those should work perfectly. Will you post a pic when done?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
