  1. On rhino, good on you for posting. Just hang in there because it will pass, I promise! This first month can be brutal so what I did was keep myself busy by posting, reading, socializing and celebrating with members. Have you tried playing games to distract your mind off the misery?
  2. My sister can draw awesome things on nails, have you tried the pointy end of a toothpick fluffy?
  3. I don't think they're very big, do you?
  4. Congratulations @notsmokinjo on 11 months smoke free! You are such a delight to all of us and I hope you know how much we love our crazy kangaroo/boobie bird Kick back and make today all about you as you prepare to become an old pharte in just one short month! Xoxo
  5. I have never sharted on purpose...
  6. The first month is the hardest Cader, then each month gets a little easier with a few hard day's sprinkled here and there. That's why these boards were/are so important to me. I got past those hard day's with a little help from my friends, let us do that for you
  7. I have never had a lobotomy
  8. @Boo how can you have never seen the Wizard of Oz?! I have the VHS if you want to borrow it..... I've never had a tattoo, dived, or been pregnant!

  10. Congratulations Rory, I'm so happy for you
  11. Great post Rory and I'm so happy that you have found your forever quit Sorry about the bad and ugly going on with you, I have some of that too and am unsure just how much is smoking related and just plain getting older ? But the important thing is that by not smoking we have stopped, hopefully, the progression of smoking related problems. Oh and the anxiety? I've seem to have gotten that as well since quitting. Hangovers seem to bring it on so again, not sure if its just getting older or the quit.... Thanks for the update, enjoy that granddaughter of yours

  16. Welcome rhinodragon and congratulations on quitting. Stick close and keep posting. I found posting and supporting others really helped keep my mind off my own misery
  17. So, first of all, quit buying cigarettes! If you're still smoking now, quit smoking in the places you normally smoked and at the times you smoked. Get yourself some sweets and lots of juice or water. You'll crave these for a while. Also, stick close to us. We have years of experience between us and lots of knowledge in the many posts here. You can do it, for you and your baby....
  18. Welcome Cader and congratulations on your pregnancy. Posting an SOS is a great start to keep from smoking. I posted a couple in my early days and members came running to help me past it

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
