    31 hours

Hi Ang, long time, 35 years, smoker here too. Congrats on 31 hours! And welcome to our family
  9. I was on the forum everyday, practically all day! Supporting others and reading posts really helped me keep my mind off my misery. Playing games and socializing also helped tons My JAC (jillars air cigarette). Used it for months and loved looking like an idiot smoking an invisible cigarette Lots of candy and candy. And then some more candy
  10. Hi rhino, why put nicotine back into your body when you've been quit a week and a half and all the nicotine is gone now?! What you are craving now is more psychological than physical. What I did, and I quit cold turkey too, was pretend I was holding an actual cigarette in my fingers and than went through the motions of "smoking" it. It really worked great at tricking my mind into thinking it was getting the real thing. Maybe try that first?
  11. So glad you got past that bad crave and kept your beautiful quit Tammy, you would have been so disappointed with yourself if you had lost all that hard work. Well done
  12. Congratulations on the double digits gabes!
  13. Congratulations on 8 months catlover, don't forget to treat yourself!

Ok. That means that you have disabled the view signatures. Go to your account settings (upper right), click on signature. Once there, there is a little box that says "view signatures". Click that and when it turns green you'll know it's enabled

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
