  1. Keep your mind busy on other things MLMR that way your brain doesn't have time to think about smoking. But boy I sure don't miss that part of quitting. I woke up thinking about it and continued until I fell asleep at night. I stayed glued to the board and found just reading and being involved REALLY helped keep my mind off the constant thoughts. I promise you that it won't last forever. One day soon you will wake up and go through your day and at some point realize you weren't constantly thinking about cigarettes.

  18. Our pets have no clue that we have to change our clocks twice a year. But they do know what time they eat dinner! So every year as long as I've ever had pets I've changed the time I feed them. Daylight savings time, dinner is at 6:00 pm. Standard time, it's at 5:00 pm. Anyone else as weird as me?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
