  12. Alan Titchmarsh Growing Fruit in Tubs Do you listen to Gardener's Question Time on BBC4 ? I do, it's great and often amusing. I'm still working on Margaret Mary's Valise. Getting closer, still fiddly work to secure everything artfully and maybe some more small items to source....

was hoping for another Big O after the spanking. Sticks are not forthcoming today. 1
  15. @reciprocitywins by default. I did meet The Captain in a funky little club in FQ. I out dancing to Bryan Lee. A few days later, boarded a Hinckley 48 in Morgan City. Morgan City is West of New Orleans at the bottom of the Atachafalya basin, a port primarily for the oil industry, fishing industry also. Now here is where the lie was buried. We didn't sail to Key West, we sailed to St. Petersburg, Florida. I'll save the details for more truth/lies

  18. Rewards Are Very Important from our @Doreensfree
  19. There are some rewards listed by quitters in the comments of The Significance OF Rewards thread. I will look for more reward threads for you. I ate Satsumas as a reward. Often my reward and one that stimulated endorphins was a few concentrated breaths and looking at something of beauty. (that light on that leaf or the color of the sky, the shape of that cloud etc.) Baths, with smellies if you like. A perfect nap in clean crisp sheets. Listening, concentrated listening with headphones, to a favorite piece of music. Taking a walk in the moonlight or to look at the stars. I kept the dosh for a pack a day in a big Mason jar and watched it grow...and quickly !
  20. Yay Juan !!! You quit smoking !
  21. Hey mrs, good morning ! Joel has a lot of information, I am glad he is resonating with you. I spent a lot of time with Joel in my early quit especially and find him helpful to this day. Cristóbal recommends watching 3 or so of his videos a day and I did at least that. Here is his In House Library, Joel Spitzer's Quit Smoking Video Library and one for some things you bring up, The Importance of Quitting For Yourself

    Scary Story/Stories

I'm with Jillar on this one also. Their thoughts were likely not craves, like the ones you may be in the grimy midst of. Sometimes a smokey thought will waft through in a long term quit but, these are old memories and easily waved away. I am not tempted by nicotine anymore in any way. and as Jillar mentioned...the 'out' you may be thinking of is dangerous. Check out Red Flags (and add your own ! ) Protect your quit. Guard it with your life, baby. Oh ! Post all you can, mrs ! Your photos are grand. The more you post, the more invested you will become in your quit and the more you will help other people with your experiences.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
