My husband never smoked cigs ever but has had a cigar or two at our wedding, his brothers wedding, my sisters wedding and a friends so 4 times he's had one, his brother is the same, I have several friends who quit smoking several years again and would have a cigar max once a year but I personally don't see it as a relapse.
  7. Don't entertain or romance the thought Beacon, that is what you are doing, I remember seeing you say on facebook if you caught Ebola you'd have a smoke so I think you've opened the flood gates so to speak and let the buggar thoughts in, you are at the romancing stage B and you need to get it out of your head hun cos that's the very dangerous stage to be at. Please go back to your day one self, remind you how hard the start of it was, maybe try the scare tactics again, look up you tube videos of throat cancer etc, look at some of the videos MQ as put up. You opened the nicodemon gates, you need to close them straight away, I don't want you back at day 1 and that's were you will end up cos you know you will quit again because you hate being a smoker. Go back to whatever worked for you at the beginning of your quit. Have you wrote a response in the pre sos thread, read it if you have and write one if you haven't. Cop on Beacon you know you don't wanna go back there and we sure as hell won't let you.

Yey well done you MG they are the hardest days and you've done 2 out of 3 lets get day 3 over with then you better go spoil yourself and treat yourself to whatever the hell you like, this is fantastic, you need to realise what you have achieved, you have got through the worst of them, soo many people are afraid to quit and would give their right arm to be were you are, Very proud, Lets kick the arse off day 3 xxx

    Never stop reading or posting, it was the main thing that kept me quit and sain, The more you read and post the more you will understand about this addiction and the easier the quit will be. We need you here as much as you need us, there's no I in team lol

  23. Give yourself less on your dinner plate so you can't over eat, Drink water with your meal and eating an apple before dinner fills you up more so you don't each as much. Apples and water are the two best things for filling you up healthily, I would eat a soft mint or two after dinner while washing up, the mints really were what saved me because my favourite smoke was always the after dinner one x

Honestly hun you are exactly were you should be, Zits are totally normal when you quit, try look at them as a positive, they are cleaning you out and your skin will look fantastic when they go away, drink lots of water to help clear them out quicker. My friend is at 5 weeks and feeling the same, each day it will ease but feel not quite right and not quite wrong if you know what I mean, from month 1-3 there will be lots of highs and lots of lows, nicotine will keep trying to break you down but nowhere like the first month, just every so often. By 3 months you should be feeling soo many benefits and alot more confident and happier, spots start disappearing if they haven't allready, it starts become second nature to be a non smoker. Make sure you are still rewarding yourself for each passing day or week, the fun and excitement starts to go at about this stage so feeling a bit bla but I promise you keep going, give yourself and your body the respect it deserves by getting to 6 months etc to see how fantastic you will feel. You won't want to ever go back when you see the magic that waits for you xxx
