  7. Yep likewise Tracey, everybody here has inspired me, just knowing each and every one of us want the same thing for ourselves and others, it's inspiring to see every person reach a milestone and get further and further away from this shitty addiction. It's inspiring to be on this journey with soo many fantastic friends all going through exactly the same thing xxx

  13. I stupidly feared I would never be happy or enjoy anything again, wouldn't enjoy going on holidays, wouldn't enjoy a night out, meal out, a cup of tea, thought I was going to be miserable forever if I became a non smoker, even at the start of my quit when I'd wake in the morning I would be thinking, what is the point in getting up if I can't smoke, life will suck bla bla bla Guess what it's not true, I'm not misearable, I'm bouncing out of bed well able to get the kids up and out early for school cos of more energy and time. I promise life is infinitely better as a non smoker, I wasted too many years fearing my life was over if I quit.. But I was wrong it's only just beginning xxx

  23. I was one of those people that quit smoking more times than i care to remember and i always gave in at the first sign of a crave. But this time when i quit, i got through each crave and do you know what, i felt euphoric for making it, it is the best feeling ever, you have the strongest urge to smoke but you hang tight and do not give in and the high you feel is just amazing. Cant beat a free buzz :pleasantry: when i would wake up the next morning after not giving in i would be on cloud nine all day,Got to the point were i was looking forward to getting a crave because i knew the feeling i would get when the crave went was priceless, no cigarette can give the same feeling. I promise you it is fab, Give it a try quit now and see how you feel when you get through the really tough ones, you will feel a million times better than if you had gave in and smoked. When a crave hits face it head on say come on do your worst, is that the best you can do and try laugh through it. You owe it to yourself to give 1oo% to your quit xxxx :give_heart: :dance2:
  24. You are doing great, smoking is not an option because you don't smoke, shut it down straight away, Hope your dad is doing ok xxxx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
