February 6, 20206 yr Getting ready to venture out to my first Dr appointment with my new dr. First time out since getting home from the hospital, I'm a little nervous.....
February 6, 20206 yr Oh @jillar. I hope you are well enough to be your own advocate or your beloved is going with you. Try not to worry and just concentrate on wellness. Thinking of you, sweets.
February 7, 20206 yr Appointment went good, he's probably in his 70's but he seems pretty thorough. Even did an EKG which he said looked good. I go for labs and another appointment in two weeks. Had a couple breathing issues but not sure if it was anxiety about if the portable tank was working correctly. Luckily hubby went with me but I think I'll definitely take an anxiety pill first the next time!
February 7, 20206 yr Good news, @jillar. Glad the appointment went OK and your beloved was there with you. I bet it wore you out.
February 7, 20206 yr @jillar I am glad it went well and can understand you being nervous. It will get better. Maybe you should get a couple of opinions. You do want the best care.

Plus a couple of people we know use him as their dr and are very happy with him.

He was so down earth and explained everything. I really trusted him. I am so glad you are confident with him. Now you have to concentrate on getting better!
February 8, 20206 yr Getting ready for Storm Caira to hit us later ....and hope my roof and fences survive !!!!
February 9, 20206 yr Thanks Peeps.... Lost one full panel of fencing ....hoping that's the worst of it ....thankfully I have great Neighbours...
February 9, 20206 yr I have just tidied up Life Drawings, and got good results with pastels, just a few colours. I now have to get my oil paints out and continue with the painting of people at night (my first night painting), Its going well but there are 5 figures so its taking a long time. Still raining but who's complaining.

Ripped my pants climbing over it one night when I was sneaking in. Perhaps I've said too much. Seriously though, happy to hear that you're safe.

February 12, 20206 yr G’day bailing...... 150 mm (6in) and the rain gauge overflowed last night. Underside of the house is flooded, it’s stowage and laundry but still it’s gunna take a bit of drying. 😖
