June 10, 20179 yr So yesterday my wife & I had the privilege of attending our daughter's 2nd university convocation. Two years ago she received her Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Geography. At yesterday's convocation she received her Master of Science Graduate Degree in Earth Sciences. Needless to say we are very proud of her and all the hard work she had to do over the last number of years. We were also really happy that her older brother showed up unannounced from some distance away to help her celebrate her special day! For all the grief your kids can give you from time to time over the years, it's really amazing how proud they can make you feel as they mature into adulthood :) I'm pretty sure my wife had a terrible cold yesterday though because she went through almost a whole box of facial tissues :P

June 12, 20179 yr Congratulations to her and you! There is nothing that fills a parents heart more than the success of your children. :) That said, it is a bit surprising that your daughter has had such success considering you live in your Mom's basement and you can't count very well. ;)
