So sorry @jillar, I bet you miss him.  I miss mine.

Tell us a good story about him.

Let's celebrate his life.

Jillar I am certain he is watching you and proud of you for quitting smoking.  Hurts, nonetheless.  Lost mine 8/5/2004.  Miss him alot.  Sometimes I still can't believe it.

A funny and ironic story, he hated Valentine's day. My sister and I would usually go buy a card and a little something for my mom and make him give it to her lol

My day just keeps getting better, NOT! I just ripped off a good inch and a half of skin off my arm ? Getting old frvcking sucks! ?

Ouch.  How did you do that?  As we get older not only does it sag, it gets thinner.  Those kind of cuts are hard to heal.  Be careful.

Don't want to bum anyone out but wanted to acknowledge it nonetheless......

Sorry about your dad jillar.  What a day to have to remember it.

I was getting out of my car and the wind caught my door so I tried to catch the door and ripppppp. What sucks even worse is that I can't use Band-Aids because the last time I did the Band-Aid tore off my skin. So my arm is all dressed in gauze and looks way worse than it is.

Oh, poor Jilly.

You need to reward yourself in some way today,

something soothing for your soul.

Beer ?  Chocolate ?

btw

I am now allergic to band-aids in a big way.

Latex is OK, the glue everybody uses is not OK.

Really NOT OK.

So, I am a gauze gal too !  Mummify, baby !  Mummify on !

@Sazerac, nice to meet a fellow gauze gal :) Sorry about your band aide allergy though. As soon as it happened I said to myself, I'm having a beer! Haven't had one in 2 weeks because I've been sick so today is a deserving day for sure, plus I can give a toast to my dad.

@babs609, sorry about your dad too...xoxo

WTFFFFF.  I've felt this for the past 39 years.  I went into labor with my son on Valentines day.  The doctor told me to go to the hospital.  A bad storm came in and the doctor decided to stay home.  He told the nurse to give me a sleeping pill.  I threw a fit and wanted my husband to take me home but he said the weather was too bad.  Needless to say, I took that damn sleeping pill, my labor stopped and I had to be induced the next day.  Induced labor is the worst and my son was born the day after valentines day.  My baby boy will be 39 tomorrow.

You are right induced labor sucks.

I was lucky.  I had a home birth with two fabulous midwives.  It was splendid.

The important thing is that you had a healthy baby ! and you lived through it !

Happy birthday to your son, tomorrow

and Happy Giving Birth to you, tomorrow,  you beautiful smoke free mama !

WTFFFFFFFF.  One of my little lovely pups chewed my computer cord and when I found it and went to look at it, it shorted out the computer and ruined it.  These two white golden retrievers have been the most expensive dogs we have ever had.  Why are we such animal lovers.  They should have been history by now.  Okay Linda.  Just one more chance!

Ugh Linda, I know your pain. My cat tiki is a cord chewer. Phone cords, mouse and keyboard cords, internet cords. You name it she's got her teeth marks on it. I've never in my life replaced so many cords. But we both know that no matter how many cords they chew, we love them little brats lol!

Well these two goldens have chewed two pair of glasses, one phone and now blew the computer.  They keep stealing my kitchen towels off the counter and they grab my wooden spoons out of the sink and chew them!!!!!! We bought this zap mat and put it on the counter but it seems to only zap my husband and I.  They were five months when we got them and they are now a year old.  I figure they are five months behind so they have five more months to shape up.  They really have learned all the other commands but they are thiefs.

Tired today and feeling flat!! Hubby hobbling around with a sore toe ( had surgery yesterday to remove ingrowing toenail) tummy aches from my IBS I shouldnt have ate those monster munch!!!

any way... this song made me laugh....

I laughed at the song not tummy and toes ?

I luv that song.. sums me rigjt up at the moment... ??

Aawwww catlover sorry to hear about your tummy.. hope your tummy and hubbies toe feels a wee bit better soon..??

Wtffffff.  My daughter is getting married in an hour.  She has been with him for 18 years and they have a son the same age.

Not quite sure how I feel.  She informed us 3 days ago and asked her dad to walk her down the aisle.

I feel a little tied in knots, came downstairs, after getting dressed and went to take a couple of aspirin.  My husband decided to soak the head of the faucet to get the buildup off.  Well it sprayed me from head to toe.  All we can do is laugh at the curves life has given us.  Whoever says marriage is about love and sex is full of sh--t.

Ugh, sorry you got soaked Linda, what a way to start the wedding day lol. You'll have a great time I'm sure. Take lots of pics and stay away from anymore faucets!

Linda !  Hold us all in your heart, we are thinking of you.

It will be over soon.

Well, the ceremony anyway.

Remember to protect your quit.

Light the groom on fire, accidentally or metaphorically, of course.
