I miss her already. RIP Bobbie

Featured Replies

This afternoon I had to say goodbye to my dearest friend of the last 9 years of my life. She was my companion, and my baby all rolled into one. She was the best cat I could ever hope for, and it was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. I've never cried so much in my life, but I just can't help myself, I am a mess.

It's only been a matter of hours, but I miss her so much already. RIP Bobbie, you were loved by so many people.

O Action, I am so very sorry for your loss and so grateful you had the adventures you did with Bobbie.

Hugs.

{{{{{action}}}}} it sucks losing a furbaby too bad they are only with us for a short period of time, but they show us love and loyalty for all their lives. Hugs again :(

Aww Ross I am so so sorry for you right now, the love you gave Bobby and vice versa will last a lifetime it's a very hard decision to make but it's one that was made with love and kindness

All those wonderful years, it's hard to explain why they have to go but it was just time dear Ross and now you have a new chapter in your lives with baby on the way

Be at peace to know you did the very best you could and cherish the memories and the love

Big hugs to you and tasha xxxxxx

So sorry Action  :(  The kitties are really adopted children and they take a piece of us with them when they go.  They say there is a very specific reason why we outlive our pets, something to think on.  Either way, try to concentrate on the memories you shared with Bobbie - nothing can take those away :)

Ross, so sorry for the loss of your friend.

Blah! I'm sorry Action. :( i know it hurts. :( Bobbie had a good life. She was petted and fed and slept in the house and had toys and love. You can remember that.

Ross,

Sorry to read about Bobbie as I had read about her earlier in the year and knew she was not getting on well. Our pets are family and although they don't have our prolonged lives, they do touch ours in so many ways. It really is hard to let go. My Condolences to you and your family.

Really pretty cat, those markings look like calico, I have never seen that before. And of course every calico is a female. She looks like quite a character.

Rest in peace, beautiful Bobbie.  You brought so much joy to Ross and Tasha.  You were all lucky to have each other.

I am so sorry Ross! I know how much you love her! Awwwww. You gave her wonderful life. She was a lucky cat and is able to rest in peace happily. Breaks my heart because they truly are family. Hugs honey!!!

Ross I am so, so sorry. The loss of a pet always makes an indelible mark. Just remember she had a great life because of you.

A sad day indeed.  I am so sorry Ross.  Take your time and honor the gift you gave to one another.

Oh Ross :( I am so sorry for your and Tasha's loss of Bobbie. She knows that she is loved and will be waiting for you at the bridge.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Cool looking cat.  Quite beautiful...thanks for sharing the pics.

I'm so sorry Ross, it hurts and we all care and stand around you here in QT, but that doesn't take away the pain and grief.
Here for you amd caring

Hi sweetie, Just wanted to add how sorry I am for your's and Tasha's loss of a beautiful and loving furbaby.
