I can't do this anymore......

Featured Replies

I have to quit smoking.  I can't even breathe and so much more is going on that I am getting to the point that I can't keep living in denial anymore.

I just am so afraid of the withdrawals.

Hi Tiffany :)

Don't be afraid... you will be following the footsteps of many before you who are successfully quit for good

You only have to go through the withdrawals once... just as long as you stay quit and don't never take another puff ever again

Weigh it up Tiffany... is it much easier to go through short term withdrawals than what it is to suffer long term from a smoking related disease?

Glad to see you back, Tiffany.  Be careful not to make the withdrawals worse than they really are.  You know the drill.  :)

Unexpected Benefits After Quitting Smoking

This video explains how some people first discover problems they had over time were in fact caused by smoking. Mostly talks about circulation issues but can principles apply to many problems.

What Is Withdrawal Really Like?

This video discusses how withdrawal reaction can vary for people, but generally will not be as bad as most anticipate.

Tiff...

The good news is...you don't have to live this way...

Join the main board....you know the drill....there's only one way ...

Never stick anything in your mouth and set fire to it....

You can do,it....if we can....you can....

Tiffany....been waiting for you, my friend.  :)

Listen girl...you have been through withdrawals more than anyone I know, to be honest with you.

Don't you get it??  You've been in withdrawal for years.

Get 'er done!!  For the last time....you can do it.  One Day at a time.

The sooner you quit, the sooner you will get through the withdrawals.

Hi Tiff been thinking of you, its the fear itself which stop many smokers from quitting, but do you know something really important, the withdrawals will not kill you, may drive you slightly nuts, but they will not kill you, do you know something else Tiff smoking will Kill you, I'm more afraid of that, don't sit on the fence anymore looking in, jump off, we have got you, you know what to expect, its like standing up to the bully, once you have done it you can laugh in its face.  stop dilly dallying, don't think about tommorow, think about the here and now, put out the cigarette and throw the rest away and come back on board xx

hi tiffany  you can do this look at how many others you helped  to ktq  me included  if you could help so many let us help you to ok  you have been through a lot latley   so lean on us  we are here for you  fight for it   your a lot tuffer than you think    love jimmy :D

Tiff its good to see you back, the withdraws wont hurt you, just uncomfortable for a while but your health sounds like its getting worse which would scare me even more

dont wait until the possibility of hearing bad news, quit now while you are ahead, listen to your body

jump in and hang on tight, have you thought of a plan? what you would do different this time? no-one knows yourself like you do...

but please sooner, rather than later xx

Stop buying cigarettes! Then you don't smoke them!

Cry, scream, throw things, just don't smoke.

You don't need to be afraid of the withdrawals. What you should be afraid of more is your breathing problems... Come on Tiffany, time to woman-up!

Have you learned any valuable lessons yet?

Have you tortured yourself enough yet?

Breathing problems....really?  And you are afraid of some f ucking withdrawals?

Time to get serious Tiff.

I put out my last cigarette this morning at 10:39. I am continuously reminding myself this as a positive thing. Visualizing me healing instead of me craving.

I have got to be bigger than these damn cigarettes.

And thank you for the support. I was nervous coming back here.

you were nervous coming back here because you still believed in the cigarette

you were nervous coming back here because the addiction is stronger than you are--(but NOT smarter)

you were nervous coming back here because the addiction was winning and the Quit Train and anything resembling anything that will get between you and the addiction...was a threat and the addict wasn't having any of it

accountability--it goes a long way. Glad you found your way back.....never feel ashamed of your past....who cares how many quit attempts you have had...they don't matter except for the fact that they all ended up the same...with you smoking, unhealthy, gasping for breath and disgusted... Let's make this one different...please!!

Like it was said....a little withdrawal is NOTHING compared to what you already have been thru...

Put your picture up....go ALL IN Tiffany! Commit and stand firm on this decision...you can do this!!

I'm glad that you made your way back Tiffany. Let's DO this, I know that you can, we all believe in you now you just need to believe in yourself.

Stop disappearing on us, put up your picture like Babs said and jump in.

Hey welcome back, You shouldn't feel nervous about coming here no matter what, we have your back, you can kick this addiction in the ass. Plus we miss you when you are gone. You got this now I think colleen needs some help in the chicks vs sticks game.

Nervous coming back here?  With us?  We're family.  It's not like we're mad at you, but I would like to give you a swift kick. hehe  Just kidding.  I'd just give ya a big hug and then put you in a headlock until you promise to never smoke again.  :)

Welcome Back Tiffany :)  You need to truly commit to your quit, embrace the withdrawal.  How bad do you want to quit and stay quit?  That bad?  Then pledge NOPE every day and make sure if there is any chance of a struggle you post an SOS.  You know we will talk you out of it.  You can do this and we will be right beside you cheering you on.

Hey Tiffany - welcome back - I've missed you ! You have supported so many people here - including me ... so how about you let us repay the favour now ????

Stay close and post often - not just cos it will help you through this difficult first days but also cos I love reading you ! a0d0423989cfe63dbac86525c36d6b54_zpsff34

I don't know you like others do, but if I can do it, you can do it.  It has to be #1, above everything else....push through those first few days and life gets SO much better.  You're already on your way!  Rooting for you.

Welcome back, Tiffany!  Let's get this done once and for all.

I'm having a rough time. I hate my own brain. It seems to be out to get me.

But I'm hanging in there and not smoking.

And I'll put a picture up tonight

lean into the discomfort....don't try to run from it.  It won't kill you..but smoking most certainly WILL!

Hang in there sister..!!
