Good to hear from you Joe!  Prayers for your family.  xoxo

First,Nancy..thanks for forwarding my message..my phone was giving me fits and i wasnt around my computer a whole lot, so when I was able to log into the QSMB I seen that Nancy was also logged in so I sent her that message...I really appreciate her passing it along.

Now..a huge thanks to everyone who sent well wishes and prayers...it really does mean a lot!

I dont have alot of news on my sister..she is resting and recovering...no major setbacks  (that I am aware of)

My daughter (Jenni) had a visit to the Cleveland clinic and a lot of tests were run on her to find out the extent of all the damage..it seems the biggest problem (at the moment) is her bladder not healing..after most of the test came back (the same day) they were hoping to let the cath tube in for 4 more weeks and give it a little more time to heal before subjecting her to any more surgeries....but...the next day they got the results from the MRI she had done and there is a large hole in her bladder that wasnt seen with the scope or the dye test...so another surgery is needed......I am not exactly sure when that will take place, but I am certain it will be soon... The Cleveland Clinic is a great place and I am glad that they are now handling it...

Jenni is extremely nervous to let another Dr. cut her again  :(

My wife has taken a leave from work and spends every day there helping out with the other girls and the "normal" house work....(laundry..dishes...cooking..etc) so its almost like I am a bachelor again...lol...

on the few days she does stay home, I got her to run with me...she has become obsessed with it..lol....well..kinda..after the first few days, she developed shin splints ...to much... to fast...I had to remind her we havent run for 40 years..lol..we need to ease into this (we are following "couch to 5k .com)...so..instead of running now, she walks about 5 or 6 miles every morning before she leaves for Jenni's house...I am progressing fairly slow...I have to admit that I feel GREAT! when I am done running...the day starts off soooo much better (I run every other day)...our initial incentive was Jenni was trying to get all of us together and run in the "color run" that is in Sandusky in Sept...she started planning this when she was pregnant..she said that delivering in May and having at least 3 full months to get ready was plenty..(all 4 of my girls all ran track/cross country in school along with 3 of them being varsity cheerleaders so they are still in "running shape")...however since Jenni's setback we are not sure what we are going to do..there will be NO WAY Jenni will be able to run...and at the present, walking doesnt look like much of an option either......did I mention she was a cheerleader in school..lol..I suggested that, and she said no way..if we run, she is going to try too......so...maybe we can set our sights on something next spring...

sorry i got off topic...I seem to do that rather well....  ;)

Just so you know, even when I am not logged in, I am reading the forums a couple times a day, so I am staying connected and that is a huge help in getting me through some tough days. I would be lying if I said I NEVER thought about cigarettes....how-ever, I have come to realize that is all  it is......a thought...I can put it out of my mind pretty quickly....I have better things to do  ;)

Thanks again for all the comments...it means alot!...

Busy times Joe. Great to hear the positives. Thoughts and prayers for you all buddy. Keep on keeping on!

Joe, I had no idea.  I'm so sorry.

Prayers for you and your family.

Joe I just saw your update. Your family sounds like amazing people, and I am sending positive vibes for Jenni.

If you can do the color run, I would highly recommend it.
