@Runfree  had to go to Dad's and pull out all his LRB vynal after that one.... I grew up listening to those guys... when I see an SOS this plays in my head....

4 Legends of the Aussie Music scene... theys guys are all in their early 70's now, Brian's voice has lost it with age but the other two still hold their own... all 4 of these fantastic singers are still gigging... the boys not as often... this was done 10 years ago... marcia is in her late 6o's now, she is the baby.... but this tribute to Maurice Gibbs is brilliant.... Doug Parkinson is the most underrated Aussie singer ever.... and Max Merritt is technically a Kiwi but he did all his recording from Melbourne and has citizenship so he's an Aussie too... ;) (Kiwi's claim we steal all their talent and claim they are ours)...OK.. so for the non-Aussies out there.... Brain Cadd (sings 3rd) is the gent with the impressive snow white locks and the fringe jacket, Marcia is the only chick, Doug Parkinson (sings 4th... I saw this guy at a blues fest in 2012 so he was mid 60's... he was frickin amazing... blew his whole set outta the water and stole the two day show, it was unfrickin believable haven't been able to catch him live since but he has been singing interstate gigs so there may be a chance)  is the portly gent and Max Merritt is the gent who looks like he raided Johnny Cash's wardrobe (sings 2nd).

This is a very young Doug Parkinson doing a Beatles cover... that (sorry Doreen) I think is better than the original...

This one goes out to all the Chickettes who might need a reminder that they are strong, invicible, and they can roar..... Linda and I were both thinking of this song at the same time today.... so this is for @MLMR, @Tammy and @c9jane29 .... we are all superheros so head high and unbowed my lovlies we have demons to overcome..
