Introducing Lucy

Featured Replies

So I did a thing....this weekend was my family reunion.....there was a bartender there that fosters puppies for hoping fur a home and she had some puppies that were rescued from Tennessee. I met the puppy than filed adoption papers and we have a new baby girl....she is a black nose cur and is 11.5 weeks and 12lbs. She does not replace lady in my heart but has a new spot all her own....I am working on changing her name from Hedwig, they were named from Harry potter characters to something else more appropriate. I feel that the sequence of events made this meant to be. Meet my new puppers.  Lucy

I Love Lucy!  We can never replace the ones we lost but giving another animal a chance to experience the love you have is a great gift.

Beautiful dog and fantastic work on providing a loving home for a rescue dog. Lucky Lucy!

Congrats on your new family member :) She will be forever grateful for the new loving home you'll provide her with!

How did I miss this... soo cute little furbaby... almost makes me want another one.... NOT... 3 is enough and our boys are getting so big.... but very happy Lucy has found a new forever home and is there to help you heal.

Aaawwww I missed your origional post..

She's beautiful Lisa..

I was devastated when my baby passed.. I said I would never get another but even in a house full of people it just wasn't the same ..

I lasted 4 months and I found another who stole my heart but my baby still holds her very on spot that will never change..

Does she do your walks with you or is she still too wee..?

She is too young to go on walks just yet.....needs her final distemper shot first in a couple of weeks

Poor older dog... squished in the corner while Lucy Muck stretches out taking up most of the couch... hahaha... we have couch wars in our house... complete with sulking and telling on each other... well only Sarge dobs but the Gunn will get Sarges favourite spot anytime he can, just to be a shit.
