  1. Candy...Stat!! Allen Carr double stat.
  2. She is going to take every one of us on an all expense paid cruise I think ;-)
  3. Congrats! I don't know what we'd all do without you. No comment on your *ahem* lame jokes today though.
  4. I struggled too when the newness wore off. I know exactly what you mean! I try to remember Allen Carr's advice to wake up in the morning and say 'yippee, I'm a non smoker!' And after awhile the 'ho-humness' about the quit goes away too. It's not new anymore, but the gratefulness of being free from the smokes comes back and it stays. I'm so glad you are working through this and I'm thanking 'S' too for helping you!
  5. ((Blinks)) I watched season one and a few eps of season two...but it was just so...so...romantic. I'm not bashing it, but it's just not MY bag.
  6. Sounds like fun jimmy!:)
  7. This place is good for ADD if you are like me and have to be doing three things at once. -watching crumby movie -answering work emails -trying to keep dogs from fighting Oh and drinking coffee of course. So that is four.
  8. Sounds like it went as well as it could have. Your mom is lucky to have you. You are handling things beautifully.
  9. On Crackle. This is the worst acting ever. Not a bad premise though. Just questionable writing and acting. I cannot believe I am watching this.
  10. Ummmm.
  11. It was dark and disturbing-that is for sure I felt like I needed to shower was a brilo pad after ;-)
  12. Jackie I am so happy to read this. :) You are tough and determined to not let this addiction beat you.
  13. Vamps! Better looking (excluding R from Warm Bodies) and hopefully, if it came to it, a less painful death. Do you think that things are random, or that everything happens for a reason?
  14. See, you are already doing better than me, I don't understand the chicks and sticks game =/ For real though, great great job! Smokers and never smokers don't quite understand how this process works, but us ex smokers know it every step of the way. It was so helpful for me to have a group of people (and Allen Carr) that have walked this same walk. Isolation is not good in times like these. I am proud of you for staying on top of it and making positive changes. They can be tough at first to make, but it's so important.
  15. That's a toughie! I think I am afraid of not being successful. And ghosties. Ariana Grande - yay or nay?
  16. Many many congrats!! Words can't express how proud I am of you. Sometimes our jobs can be (extremely) stressful, but we've stayed the course. 1 year is just fantastic!!
  17. Off the cuff, I'd kiss Jay Ryan. I'd slap Russel Crowe. I just don't care for him. What is your fave thing to do to relax?
  18. I agree you already are a winner. Very well done! I'm all just zzzzz'ing at 4 am and you are out there kickin butt.
  19. I agree, bread gloves top the list.
  20. Sammie, very well done. You are really doing this!! If you can go a week, you can do anything. Great job.
  21. Cereal and that 30 cal/cup almond milk. (Special K is my go to.)
  22. I have been known to mix tap water and Brita 50/50. Don't want the filter to have to be changed too soon!
  23. Did you say free? ;-)
  24. And a bag of cookies! Xoxo Which is the highest compliment from me:)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
