  1. The term Redneck is chiefly used for a poor rural white person of the Southern United States. It can be a derogatory slang term[1][2] similar in meaning to cracker (especially regarding Georgia and Florida), hillbilly (especially regardingAppalachia and the Ozarks),[3] and white trash(but without the last term's suggestions of immorality).[4][5][6]
  2. You sound like me. I hate driving on roads like that.
  3. Do you like your job? What is your favorite dinner?
  4. Congratulations, Baffled. 10 months is wonderful!!
  5. I'm sorry you are having a rough day. Great job not smoking!
  6. At what point in your quit did you know you would never smoke again?
  7. Great job, Amy! Nope for today!
  8. :( Sad to see you go, Drew. Happy that you are feeling so great though. KTQ buddy. If you find any really cool redneck lawn ornaments, you know where to find me.
  9. Congratulations, Fay! One year is amazing!
  10. Nope for today.
  11. Thanks, Action. Haven't been able to make a quit stick since the end of April. I am just so tired of it...so sick of it. Just want to be done.
  12. Tiff...glad to here you still have your quit. That is so awesome. You did great. Sorry I missed your post last night. I am glad to see you are feeling a bit better today.

  16. Have you ridden horses all your life?
  17. How old are you? What do you do for a living?

Men!! He should know that he should get you something. No such thing as "just" the stepmom. Happy Mother's Day!

  19. Forgot this question. Ace is my favorite. I feel bad picking one but I know it, he knows it, and everyone else knows it so there's no harm in saying it out loud. Ace and Cami are allowed on the bed and couch whenever hubby isn't home. Nila is allowed on the couch whenever there is a thunderstorm or people are shooting. Rex is never allowed on any furniture. You can kinda tell my favorites as to who gets to come into bed with me. :P
  20. Happy Mother's Day to all the QT moms, step-moms, grandmothers, etc.! Hope you all had a great day!

  21. Congrats, Ross! You are awesome!!!
  22. I actually already had my dream job. Used to be lead keeper at a big cat/bear sanctuary here in TX. That's actually why I moved here for the job. Left about 2 years ago. :( It was an awesome place...I learned so much and the animals were amazing. Nothing like going to sleep and waking up to a lion's roar. Wait...I feel a bit stupid...but dessert or desert? I had to google cause I couldn't remember which was which. I have never been to a desert. And dessert, I never really eat it. Hubby rarely takes me out anymore...maybe once a year to go out to dinner. I usually eat so much food there is never room for dessert. Probably more serious in real life...definitely lately.
  23. I can't even figure out what that is supposed to say?
  24. Right now I have two cats. Toby is the inside cat and Mama is the outside cat. Four dogs: Ace, Rex, Cami and Nila. (Pics are in my gallery). Down to one pig (finally)...he is Big Murray. Unfortunately, he will be going to the slaughter house soon which is really sad bc I like him alot. I get way too attached to the farm animals. We've had a bunch of cows and tons of pigs and this is only the second pig we will be slaughtering and I am only really allowing it bc the hubby's parents want the meat. I am learning though...that's what they are raised for. :(

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
