  1. I am 35 years old (I think) and I started smoking when I was 14 (I think). Smoked 1-2ppd. I have tried to quit several times in the past but never made it 24 hours. There are a few important differences with this quit: I WANT to quit this time. Allen Carr's the easy way helped me to begin to look at smoking in a different way. Further educating myself about niccotine addiction through this blog. The amazing support of the board! If you are here than you must be thinking about quitting. Please join and introduce yourself. You don't have to try to do it by yourself. That's what we are here for! Do I have a twin?
  2. Love this!
  3. Happy Birthday!!!!
  4. Wonderful idea, Julie!

Do recipes have to be healthy to post them here? I don't think I have any healthy recipes.
  6. I love the idea of posting a response to your own SOS. I have known too many people who have quit for years and then started smoking again. I am not saying this will happen to you! You are doing amazing. But, I feel this is the perfect time to write one if you are going to. You are quit and you are ECSTATIC about it! That's wonderful. You can just write down all of the wonderful things that are happening to you because you are a non smoker. If you ever have a weak moment, you can read it. Or if you are just having a bad day (both smokers and non smokers have them) you can read it just to feel good about yourself. Can't hurt!
  7. Ok...not confused. I just saw the title and your post of 43. Didn't see all the other pages. oops
  8. Loving you attitude, Tracey!!

  10. I am sorry to hear this, Evelyn. But you didn't blow it. You only blow it if you quit quitting. Learn from this mistake and move on. You CAN do this because you are strong! Have you talked to your doctor about the best way for you to quit?

Played catch with the girls for a little while yesterday. My shoulder is so sore today, even though I stretched and warmed up. I also popped my hip out (catching a slow rolling grounder two inches to the left of me) and had to quit. Getting old sucks. Apparently I can do nothing more than lay in bed if I want this hip to stay in place. I am not ok with that! :(
  22. Jimmy is strong!!
  23. Glad to hear it, Amy!!
