March 24, 201511 yr I have beat my self up for relapsing yet again and it has took a lot for me to come back mainly because I am embarrassed, but I don't mind if any of you want to give me some tough love if it means being given another chance for the support, im not going to give excuses because that would be just stupid as there is none. I am grateful to marti who has been there for me over the last couple of days and is always there whenever I need her.i thank you for that xx

March 24, 201511 yr Laura..i know it's hard but coming back here is the smartest thing to do....and also shows that you want to quit...you want accountability...the question is..how bad do you want it?? More than your desire to smoke? Also....if the situation were to come up again...how will you handle it? Get back on the train...stay close...read read read..watch the videos...make it a point to unbrainwash your stinkin thinkin which includes romancing the cigarette...no more!! from now on...Not One Puff...Ever....No matter what. Welcome back! We missed you! Now...lets get to it, shall we??

March 25, 201511 yr So glad you didn't give up Laura. This is done one day, one hour or one minute at a time. Just know that it is SO doable. Welcome back :)
March 25, 201511 yr Laura, why do you think you decided to smoke ? Was there anything you can pin point? .....The other day someone checked in here to tell us she had made it to nine months. I was so pleased to hear this because she had relapsed at least twice from what I knew and then started over a few times. I had not heard from her so I had wondered. But she was ok! She started over and won this time. So, you will too. May I suggest : Post every day the pledge. Spend a few minutes each day committing through posting here, reading, or other mindful quitting activities.
March 25, 201511 yr Smoking is such a flipping beotch. Punch it in the face! Seriously though, for some of us it takes a couple of "tries." When we stop trying and starting "doing," that is when we succeed. I'm going to DO this now. I'm going to STOP. I am free. I may have struggles and want to smoke, but I will not. I will distract myself. I will cry. I will look in the mirror and say NOT AT THIS MOMENT CIGARETTE! NOT EVER. I HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO SMOKE ,AND I WILL NOT SMOKE. You can do it Laura. Don't ever give up and believe you can't. You can.
March 25, 201511 yr I'm glad you got back on the quit train. We will never shame you. You have it in you to quit and the sure fire way to do it is.....Don't smoke. No matter what.
