September 30, 20187 yr Congratulations @albert for being 6 months smoke free! Well done Albert on joining the 50%ers. What an awesome achievement being half way to your first year of freedom. Its great to see you in the NOPE every day. So the halfway mark is a big one, you certainly need to celebrate and reward yourself. Make sure you do something extra special to treat yourself.

October 1, 20187 yr Congratulations on 6 smokefree months Albert...you've got a great quit going...best of luck for the upcoming 6.
October 1, 20187 yr I had tried to quit many times before and had never made it past two months. I have a feeling this one's for life. And I can't have done it without all of you amazing people! Doing this alone would have been next to impossible for me, because I'm surrounded with friends and coworkers who are smokers, and who have been the exact opposite of supportive! Thank you all for your support! And good luck with your quits (if you still need it! ?)
October 1, 20187 yr You've got this Albert, we're just egging you on, you're doing all the heavy lifting. Thanks for the inspiration as I have also attempted to quit a few times before, but stories like yours on this forum help me realize it's not impossible...
October 1, 20187 yr Author ^^ what she said. Seriously mate your the one doing the hard work. Sure we are here to clap and cheer you along but your the one in control of your quit and you are smashing it. I always have heaps of respect for those of us who do this with partners and family who still smoke and collegues and friends... its hard having it in your face all the time. Its really hard when you have "those friends" who try to deal rail your quit. I have a couple of those at softball.... it used to really annoy me but now it makes me think how strong my quit is because I'm not tempted.
