  1. NOPE = Not One Pleated Skirt Ever I'm all for this!
  2. :) Aw, thank you. I love them both very much!
  3. It's not. Actually, I think I hate Labour Economics more than I hate Accounting. 1. People at the food court who can't decide where they want to sit and block you from sitting down while they make a decision. That happened to me today. I wanted to scream. 2. Costochondritis. 3. Bees/wasps. I freak out and try to hit wasps with my purse... I'm so smart.

    Depression

Holski, I feel for you. :( Depression consumed me for months after my mom passed away. Like Ava/Jen said, just take it easy on yourself. Rest and relax. Deep breaths. Know that things will be okay. Virtual hugs.

Loving these pictures! I don't know what to post, lol.
  10. Uh oh. Now I'm in trouble. :) He is! He's made himself at home here. Didn't take him long, lol. Aw, it's so true Doreen. I already feel so happy and less stressed with him around. I really needed that after everything that has happened over the last year. I was telling the shelter ladies there that if I was working at the shelter, I'd want to adopt every cat. I was ready to take this guy home too: http://www.petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=OTTW.A169359 I was contemplating it! We just bought him a cat tree. I assure you, he's not spoiled at all. :P Aww, congrats. :D I would have cried too. :( The previous owners of Mike had him for six years and had to give him up because they were moving. I'm sure they were so sad giving him up. I'm sort of allergic too, but we didn't tell the shelter that. :P Ottawa Humane Society. :)
  11. Thank you! :D
  12. I need to start posting it daily. I have a long quit, yet just the other night, I had a smoking dream. UGH. NOPE x infinity.

    Hi there xoxo

Hey Jenny: I miss you so much! I miss everyone actually. I wish I had more time to post. :( My school schedule is insane right now. I'm supposed to be cleaning my apartment right now, but meh. Procrastination for the win! :D Good to hear from you and congrats on the 20 lbs. That's awesome! My weight's been up and down. I was going to try eating better this week, but I just bought ice cream 30 minutes ago, so... shows you how well I'm doing.
  14. My new guy is a proud non-smoking cat!
  15. Thank you! :D He's such a sweetheart! <3 I'm glad we decided to go take a look at him and spend some time with him today. I'm pretty sure he would have been snatched up by someone else if we hadn't!
  16. What a sweet gesture, but... yuck! Lol. Good on you for eating it though.
  17. So I'm happy to say we finally adopted a cat! We've been wanting to for over a year, even since we moved in together. He's an adult cat (obviously). He had the name "Mr. Ike," but since we both weren't a fan of the name, we changed it to Mike. He's 6. Very affectionate, very talkative, kind of demanding. He's everything we've been looking for. :)
  18. Labour Economics homework. Blah.
  19. Loves an array of music!
  20. Can I come visit Sharon?! I love this -- so pretty!
  21.   You guys crack me up.
  22. Yes, welcome to QT all new members! Don't be afraid -- post! We're looking forward to meeting you. :)
  23. Sharon, I loved this! As I say, things will get better. The unpleasant feelings are only temporarily. Once you're free, it's such an amazing, indescribable feeling.
  24. It's a glorious feeling, isn't it? :) Speaking of rain, I saw a poor girl lose her sandal yesterday due to the torrential rain we were getting. She had to hobble across the street with only one shoe on. I hope she didn't have to go too far.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
