  1. How long have you been with your fiance and where/how did you two meet?
  2. I'm taking human resources management. It's a two-year program crammed into 8 months, so I'll be pretty busy.
  3. Yeah, lol. We're small, but mighty! I'm glad we're making progress though. :) Hopefully more people will find their way here soon!
  4. Hope all is well guys!
  5. Good job Tracey! You did brilliantly. :) You're right, it's all about mindset. If you think you will fail, you probably will. If you think you'll succeed, you will. Our quits are as easy or as difficult as we make them out to be, regardless of triggers/cravings.
  6. Rain, you are such an inspiration. Congrats on your solid 5-year quit! Thanks for all that you do here. You have been a great help to us all. Woo, you rock!
  7. Thank you! :D
  8. Relationship-oriented, I think. I mean, my career is important to me, but so is maintaining relationships. That was difficult Jen, lol. I had to ask my boyfriend what he thought.
  9. Sneakers all the way. I love the look of heels, but my feet don't. If I do wear heels, the heel is short. I used to. Haven't watched Springer in years though. We used to chant "Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!" on the bus ride to school. He can't be any worse than Harper, so sure.
  10. Okay! Thanks Action. :)
  11. I was giggling a bit when I read the article that it says it will take a few hundred years, haha. Like I'll care then!
  12. That's a really awesome tip Action. Thank you. :) I'm so worried about ordering online, but I may have to. I haven't been having much luck in stores and I really don't want to spend a fortune on a dress I'll (hopefully) only wear once. I think it's going to be a beautiful place to hold a wedding AND it's way cheaper than other places I've looked at. For the entire day, it's $825 to rent the entire room upstairs. That's from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m., I think. The deposit is only $100. I'm just waiting for a quote for the catering to make my decision, but I'm pretty sure we're going to go for that venue if the food isn't too overly priced. Lol, I'm the same way. Steve's okay not having much of a say though. He's not really a planning type of guy.
  13. Wow, 11 years. :) Congrats! Mine's in March. 2015. We're having about 60-70 guests (or at least that's how many I'm planning on invited), so I think that's considered small. :) I'm really getting into the spirit of planning! Will you be doing the ceremony in a church this time around?
  14. I like that it says Pirate Jenny on the boat, lol.
  15. I'm definitely going to try. :) People keep "suggesting" things, but I have just been ignoring most of them. My soon-to-be mother-in-law is annoying that way. Here's a picture of the hall we're looking at renting:
  16. Lol, not at all. I like the questions. :) Indoor wedding. It will be March and will be pretty cold out still, probably with snow. We're having a church ceremony and the reception will be at a sailing club. We're thinking buffet, so not too formal. :) Here is me with the second dress on. Don't mind the bra straps.
  17. I tried on this one too, but they couldn't order it in my size. If I wanted the dress, I would have had to get an insert in the back and it would have been another $500 for just that alteration.
  18. Oh wow, that's a tough one. Either in my bed or at the library, haha. Used to be my mom's place, but the house is just depressing now.
  19. I'll post a dress that looks like the one I love. I went to a local bridal boutique and I wasn't able to find a picture of the dress online. No pets. I'm hoping to adopt soon though. I really want a cat.
  20. We haven't decided, but I would love to go to Montreal. I've never been there and I hear it's beautiful. I believe Steve has, but not I! I have bought bottles of booze and spent over $100, but never a bottle for 100+. Good advice. Thank you. :)
  21. What has been your most embarrassing moment?
  22. 1. We've been together since October 2011. :) 2. I haven't picked a dress yet, but I've been trying some on. I know you probably don't care about dresses much, but I fell in love with an all-lace one. It's a bit pricey, but I may go for it if I can find the funds.
  23. Have you ever spent more than $100 (59.28 pounds apparently) on a bottle of booze? If so, how much and what kind?
  24. When are you getting married? Is it going to be a small or big wedding?
  25. Haha, I started one, but I think it got kind of lost. :) 1. Supernatural. I have been watching that show since 2006ish, I think. Some seasons have been better than others. I'm liking this season so far, so that's promising! 2. Oh goodness. Um.. I listen to a lot of Queen, so I'd say Queen. 3. Jeffrey Dean Morgan! He's 20+ years older than me, but I still find him really attractive. Oh, and David Tennant. Even though he kind of resembles a rodent. I'm weird that way. 4. I did! Lol, not a whole lot though. I fell asleep around 4:45 and woke up at 10. 1. I'm actually unemployed at the moment. I took a sick leave from work in December and never returned. I ended up quitting in February. I'm starting school full-time tomorrow and depending on my course load, I may try to get a part-time job. 2. Pretty much anything with a lot of cheese. I LOVE homemade macaroni and cheese.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
