  1. No worries, lol. I love finding stuff like this. What's funny to me is I found these items in the Hallmark store. Not exactly the store I'd expect!
  2. Haven't read Dean Koontz lately, but I remember liking his stuff!
  3. It is almost 5 a.m. here and I haven't gone to bed yet. Naughty. ;) Steve's going to wake up at 6 and yell at me, I'm sure.
  4. Aw Doreen, sorry to hear things are rough this week. :( Hugs.
  5. It was! I woke up in a sweat, haha.
  6. Yes sir!
  7. Brain overload! My last dream wasn't sexy or fun. :( I dreamed about wasps... shudder.
  8. Hell NOPE for me!
  9. I will! I remember one time, we had a few (ahem) drinks and she ended up crashing at my place. The next morning, she's standing at the bathroom door, looking like a hot mess, and asking me to fetch her some pants off my living room floor, lol. The shit Steve puts up with.
  10. I can't wait to give it to her so I can see her reaction, haha. Describes our drinking nights quite well!
  11. If I Stay by Gayle Forman. The guy at the bookstore suggested it after I picked up a John Green book (The Fault In Our Stars). I told him I really enjoy John Green's stuff, so he said this book is similar to TFIOS. I'm on page 44 and it's pretty good.... a tearjerker.
  12. Ross, you don't dream about me?! Rude.
  13. Hell NOPE!
  14. SanDar, I loved reading this. You're a trooper for facing your triggers head on! Me? I avoided things like alcohol, coffee, and being around smokers for a bit because I was so scared that I would relapse. But I didn't, you didn't, and that's all that matters. The attitude you have towards your quit makes me smile. Good on you for identifying the trigger. Stress was HUGE for me as well. Even now, I sometimes feel a crave creeping up when I'm feeling particularly stressed/overwhelmed, but I know I am better than that and I can handle stress without the cigarette! High 5. Keep it up. You rock!
  15. I keep hoping it's a hoax, but I know it's not. Even though I didn't know Robin personally, he was an amazing actor and I have heard an amazing person as well. It is upsetting that he was so sad inwardly and thought this was his only way out. Poor man. May he RIP. :(
  16. I also bought this. Not sure if I'm going to gift it or put it on my wall:
  17. I will call him Mikey, and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him. Like me, he also had a non-smoking day.
  18. I was laughing out loud in the store... I think I might have snort laughed.
  19. So I was at the mall today and picked up this gift bag for no apparent reason. Then I walked over to the liquor store and bought a cheap bottle of Sangria. I plan on giving it to the lady who made my bouquets. We are very classy girls. :)

I love these pictures! Jenny, your girls are gorgeous. :) Colleen, your son is very handsome! Action, you and Tasha look amazing (I totally want her dress). Here's a picture of me and my best friend Crystal (the one in the glasses). I've known her since I was 16.
  21. Lol, Scott, don't go evaporating! Hope all is well with you. :)
  22. Oh LB, it's good to "see" you! :) Congrats on paying it forward! I agree with Aine. I don't see a problem with telling people to come here for support. That's what we're here for. Sorry to hear that the other place was so nasty to your readers, but it doesn't really surprise me to be honest.
  23. I swear we don't bite... well, at least I don't. Join us! What better way to get support than to talk to a bunch of people who have quit/are quitting/have plans to quit? We know what it's like. We've all been there!
  24. Welcome to the QT! Like others have said, it doesn't matter how you quit, so long as you have quit! 3 months is awesome! Congrats.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
