So I asked one of the girls if they were still quit and she said, "now wasn't a good time to try to quit." I said, "it's never a good time to try to quit if you let yourself think like that." I wish like heck they hadn't given up so quickly. No smoker wants to be a smoker. No non smoker wants to be a smoker. No ex smoker wants to be a smoker.

When I have problems, in my head I think back to what Allen Carr said, (paraphrasing) 'ok you've got a problem, fix it if you can, if you can't, move on. If you've got a problem and you smoke, well, now you have 2 problems.' If you start smoking again over a problem it will never, ever, solve it. It will only add a HUGE problem to the one you already have. And then all the problems that come with being a smoker come back, and my gosh, now you really have problems. Stress rules so many people's lives, and it is indeed something to be dealt with, but smoking makes everything even worse.

I just did the math, and I have worked 75 hours and counting since Monday. Thank goodness I'm on salary.

Glad you are back with your fam again! I think it would be the coolest to live in either one, England or Australia.
